This episode was amazing. So much character development, so much RP-based combat (hardest pasrt of DM'ing in my opinion) and insanely epic proportions. Thank you C team, I'm hooked again.
Awesome episode, really loving the continued myth making with the God's and eldritch horrors and all the little mortals caught between. Kiupid's realization at the end was priceless, as was Denarr's response to it. But questions must be asked! (I posted this in the episode but may table talk people have answers.) What happened to the Alternut that walnut was carrying? WTF happened with Maelith and Maliki are they both caught there now, or are they having a major god showdown inside the wandering crypt? How was the lizard king alive again, or was he just not dead?(or was that a Jerry retcon) Is K'thriss just blind now? What the hell do Maliki and Maelith look like? And how many different Alternut's were there and what did they look like? (I wish Jerry had described them in more detail.) Other highlights: Rosie weaving giant tentacles into shadow pastries, Kiupid munching on giant tentacles and "pounding crystal holes", also a perfect use of witch bolt which can be a hard spell to use right(even though she rolled shite damage), K'thriss reaching a new level of enlightenment and being blinded by a god for his hubris. Denarr tossing Rosie in the fast ball special! Actually Denarr threw a lot of people this game, to good effect. Also there was an epic amount of double entendre and "phrasing" in this ep which was pretty hilarious. I can't wait to dig into the dragonborn's meaty back story when the party gets to Schalla(Skalla?) Oh I thought of another question. Did the god of mouths make that dude showed up in the Salmon queen's court walnut's dad, like for realsies or was that just another reality it was creating?
I cannot find the first ever episode K'thriss appeared in. Is it explained where he gets the fragment of the alter? Did he debut in a live pax session? I want to know his back story they talk about when he loses those memories?? The causality splintering. Someone please help me find this episode. I neeeed it
www.acq-inc.com/portfolio/details/pax-east-2017 This is the first appearance in game of K’thris and when he introduces his character he mentions the chunk of altar. This is also the episode where K’thris fails the important roll that causes him to go insane.
was one of the best episodes. *so much* k'thriss patron material that I always love so much. Also, I've started to workshop some ideas for making my own beestinger
Is it weird that when I watch Barney with my 2 year old, that I think that the park the show takes place in, looks like some sort of weird mormon commune?
My interpretation is that she's been rescued (given that Walnut and K'thriss got out at the same time), but that she'll probably be in recovery/rehab mode for a long time given the apparent time span since she was taken. Also, it'll be interesting to see what happens with Walnut given some of the NPC's reactions to her in Nemezir
I'm on the other side of that thought. Maliki is now in the mouth gods realm, and may have freed Maylith (not confirmed) I'm more concerned that now it has obtained another god.
MrKurome I'm under the impression that those two goddesses are currently battling the mouth god. That might go on for a while and maybe cause some havoc.
