Hi Tim! Multifact analysis is the feature that allows joining of published data sources as well correct?

Not just yet . but first, you wont be able to join publish data sets you'll be allowed to relate them. Big difference hence I call out relationships matter more now. That feature for published data sources is called Composbale Data sets and is slated for 24.3 according to a slide at conference.

Exciting. When is the release date for desktop 2024.2 And is it 100% sure that 2024.2 will run on Apple Silicon processors? Native Apple support was my reason 10 years ago to pick Tableau as a BI tool over Power BI.

Mac Silicon support for Desktop dropped a few days ago. Running it on my M1 and feels much faster.

Hi Tim , Could you please help me how to print one record in one PDF page. ex I have 100 student report card . so I need to print 100 page PDF where 1 PDF will return only one student record .

You dont want to do this in Tableau. Take the data, Put it in excel, do a mail merge to Word and design it how you like.

@@TableauTim Thanks for your reply, but We are not allowed to download data as compliance and there are Charts designed for each student's report card. Please suggest a method in using Tableau only.

So you can't download data but you can connect to it in Tableau? create an extract and export PDFS from Tableau? I think youre asking for a way around the compliance? I already answred your question. Theres no way to isolate 1 record to one page without manualy sitting there and hitting print after changing a paramter. You can Look at the workbook APIS to burst out 100 workbooks and then automate the creation of 100 pdfs from 100 workbooks as an option . I dont know how to do that but i know Tableau doucments its API well. Take a look you might find your answer there. I'm not here to solve / solution consult. Comments should be related to the video.
