This 2 part step-by-step tutorial will walk you through all the steps you need to create a fully functional Tableau dashboard.
This is Part 2 of this series. In Part 1 we set up the 6 worksheets we needed for the dashboard.
In this second part, we finalize our dashboard. We lay out all our worksheets, format it, add interactivity using actions and filter. You will learn tricks on how to lay out your dashboards with multiple layout containers.
The final minutes walk you through publishing your dashboard to Tableau Server.
This video is also packed with tips, for example

Thank you for this 👌...I have been following your videos being a new learner and have implemented a similar style dashboard for the company I work at..however I have a slight issue with the banner...I have added a percentage growth to the banner but as soon as you select 2 or more products, the percentages add instead of working out the actual growth. Is there someway to over come this while keeping the visual aesthetic of the banner

Hi Donabel, Thanks for this video. I had a question. When I was trying to create the calculated field for Region/Regions COUNT only gives me the required result. COUNTD does not give me the correct result. Region/Regions (Calculated Field): IF COUNT([Region]) > 1 THEN "Regions" ELSE "Region" END So with COUNT([Region]) when multiple Regions e.g.: Central & East are selected in Region filter I get the Dynamic title as "Profitability at a Glance for Central & East Regions". Am I missing something here? Thanks, Deepak.

Is it possible to build a dashboard for prescriptive analysis? For example, in the superstore data, you could do a slice and dice and get a view on the sum of performance and then come to a conclusion when the statistics of different combinations work out?

for some reason the countd logic doesnt work for myself in regards to the dynamic showing of regions/region with the multiple values (drop down box). the dynamic value for category/categories works. to do some troubleshooting i added another calc field that just does countd(Region) to troubleshoot the drop down box and the value always pulls back 1. even when i have two regions selected the countd returns a value of 1. im new and i could totally have done something odd
