Caught up after missing it live, this went up quick. That is a super useful mat for Europe in any era.

This Buildings look Amazing!

It is my understanding that @36 minutes when you took an advance to get the squad from the second floor out, that would not be possible because an advance would only get them down from second floor to first floor. A run order would have got them out but no firing.

I have never had any luck with mortars so I literally take a light mortar now for extra dice. I’ve also never had the balls to take an vehicle like the wirbelwind over a tank but was great seeing something like this on the table

PIAT team needed to sneak around and use the armored car to take out the whirlwind. You never used smoke! Use the mortars to fire smoke so you can assault the whirlwind.

I'd like to suggest that, in order to get more patrons involved in Bolt Action/Chain of Command games, that you name the operators of MMG, mortars, tanks and other AFVs, snipers, etc.

46:13 cover doesn't apply to assaulting units I think. It's assumed they are shot at when they go over their cover and are in the open.

Love the wirbelwind but it gets pinned down way to fast usually. The kugelblitz solves this problem.

FFS 2lb versus SFA armour - point blank range; bounce possible but not 1/6 chance. Magic rules with arbitrary figures. That's fair enough, I played warhamer ancients and won several times in championships. same sort of shit. Just parametric rules having little to do with history. Fun to play but fantasy
