Hello there. I am very glad that I came across your youtube channel. This is probably one of my favorite games from you. It's probably a breakthrough when Steven doesn't get his extreme throws and Andre ruthlessly uses it. And that music when another American hero disappears from the board. In case of German losses, I suggest the melody from "Ich hat eine Kamerade" ;) Great job, gentlemen! Best regards from Poland.
Another Great video and table! Merry Christmas Travis, Andre, Jonny and Robert and your families. Tabletop CP continues to go from strength to strength. Looking forward to 23. Thanks Gents enjoy the holidays🎄🎄🥃
I'm just about to get I to bolt action. I won Island Assault from on table top and it just arrived Sunday!! Excited to get into some historical gaming.
Started watching you guys yesterday and this is my third batrep ive watched now, im hooked! Ya’ll do really well in explaining the game and make it very entertaining!
Also, 2 things; Firstly, did you choose near full sized squads for a reason? I am preferring 6 to 7 man squads these days Secondly, we did a Bulge game last year, it was a 2 part-er scenario 2 v 2 game. First game Germans did surprise attack, second game was the US counter-attack. First game the Germans had 3,000 points Vs the American 2,000pts. Second game the Germans used whatever they had left of their 3k vs whatever the US had left plus 1,500 points. Worked out ok, felt very themed. For German damaged but knocked out vehicles they could only be used on 6+ if they won the first game, 4+ if they drew, 2+ if they lost (representing the german inability to keep and save vehicles in the field) USA got stubborn rules and free air attacks in second game. Basically that was it and ended just in a German loss, so overall felt about tight gameplay wise and great fun. Enjoy!
@@tabletopcp I’m still learning the rules, but it seems like a battalion size chain of command ish game. Good opportunity to get larger scale armies on the table.
Awesome battle report. Question though, shouldn't Steve's truck been removed just by moving Andre's squad closer than an American unit, making the assault unnecessary? Steve, my wife has similar dice luck to you, unfortunately...
Empty transports are only removed at the end of the turn. Not the moment they get closer to an enemy. We used to do it that way but it made killing transports a little to easy. If you wait till the end of the turn it gives you a chance to move them or get some of your guys closer to save it.
@@tabletopcp can tou elaborate on the 'geek villain' roads, os that the make of them? I have been making roads for snow and regular terrain using roofing felt strips. Works really well as it's easy to cut, light, textured and flexible, are these roads cloth or paper or something? Hi from the UK loving your vids all round 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
