Combat Mission mechanics with these graphics would would be an incredible game IMHO.

Strong Battle Academy vibe. All the mechanics I see here are refined BA mechanics.

Looks like a beautiful military diorama-- I LOVE the look and feel. For a WWII squad level game, it is very thematic.

Am I the only one laughing at the flame throwers that go through walls? It does look fun though.

The game looks great and it looks like the demo runs without bugs. It's a demo of a game in development and I would imagine they are going to add more content after release. This has been on my wishlist for a while and it is a lot better than I expected. Thank you for presenting the game DasTactic, I agree, this is very much what I want to play. As for the graphics, it's very, very good looking, compare this to "The Troop" for example, no disrespect, as a matter of fact, I think it is all in all very comparable to "The Troop" which was received very positively on Steam. The environment seems to be fully destructible as well in this game.

Looks like a good game. Watching you show your viewers how not to play was painful. I learned tactics such as: 1. Immediately use your recon car as a frontline tank. Instead of retreating the damaged unit leave it in the road next to a capture and then attack an enemy infantry even though it shows that your recon care will almost certainly be destroyed. Enjoy the feeling as your recon car doesn't do anything to the enemy while the enemy's return fire destroys your HIGH value recon car. 2. By turn 2 ensure all infantry type units have dismounted and then walk most across the map. 3. Look up which key to select next unmoved unit. Test it out but never actually use it and miss giving units move orders. 4. Move infantry close to enemy infantry, but keep those armored medium tanks as far away as possible. 5. Move your scouts onto the beach were it has great views, proceed to use it as just infantry. 6. Don't move infantry into the treelines over-looking the beaches; it's just more fun to get surprised by what comes ashore. 7. Leave a flamethrower unit to protect your left flank. When it does spot an infantry decide not to attack even though you would have great advantage. 8. Place most units in the center and/or center right. When you see your lone left flank defender will be attack not only do you not quickly move a couple of infantry and/or mg units by truck to help out, you don't move a tank. After all, surely a short range infantry unit with no line of sight will be just fine. 9. Insure at least 1 tank is near the back of the map with as many buildings between it and any enemy units. 10. The best way to attack an enemy infantry unit in a building is to first attack with infantry and then use 75mm HE rounds from a Panzer IV to blow holes in the building. Bonus: a) Never use an units special abilities, that's just cheating. b) Using a truck to quickly move an infantry type unit is cheating. c) Recon is cheating. d) Combined arms warefare is cheating.

I hope this comes with a map/scenario editor, since that is one of the big omissions from The Troop that I wish it had.

A modern 3D steel panthers??

I've seen indie game companies simply hire RU-vidrs who speak English, but are of the native nationality they're looking for, to get the right accent. I imagine it's a lot cheaper than going through an agency.

They stole the CoH game menu - looks almost 1:1.

1:48 actually imo it is better than a fake German accent, which is a movie gimmick. The game is looking much better than the early presentations.

That looks pretty amazing. But I'm thinking it'll take a NASA-scale computer to run well. I doubt my donut-powered steamputer could handle it. Fun to watch tho, so thanks!

WW2 battles and turn based combat simply does not work together... Combat is supposed to be swift, ruthless, coordinated, hard-hitting, combined arms tactics applied...etc By using a turn based system it negates those aforementioned characteristics.

One click reinforcement seems a bit.... simplistic
