I think I'm an odd tarot practitioner in that I've never owned or used a rider Waite deck. I learned on my "hermetic" deck and my "deviant moon" tarot decks so the imagery of this deck just feels like home. Such amazing work. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Elle, Thank you for such an awesome review of this incredibly stunning deck. I love how M. M. Meleen has portrayed the ideas in Thoth using everyday life (That Magician card though .. just wow), it's like bringing to light the divinity in everyday normal life and every card is a reminder of that. If you could spare the time, I would love it if you could do an in-depth review of this deck. Hearing your views of the cards in the Tarot is pure joy.

I love how you delve into the deck with us. I love all the information you give us, this will be my first Thoth deck I am so excited I think this will be a wonderful first deck for me. I picked up the Tabula Mundi Nox et Lux version with Book M quite a while ago, but have yet to dive into it. This video makes me so excited to sit with this book and book. This might have to be a winter deck dive for me... I am super tempted to get the colored version now, though... I am feeling enabled. ;-) Love your energy as always. I'm curious if you will be edging this deck? I'm getting myself 2 copies which I always do when I find a deck that I not only love to death, but that is limited. Because of the wonderfully colorful backs almost any color would look great to edge with. Deep red, purple, black but I'm thinking about edging the one I'll be using Metallic Gold. Omg... I'm dying just waiting for my deck. I got the Babalon edition which left me too broke to get the book for this month, but March I'm getting the Mundi and book package and the 20$ Rosetta tin add on which is just awesome. Love when you can save on a bundle deal. Also how excited are you for the full size Rosetta deck reprint with hieroglyphs? Yay!!

I got the deck and book on a whim because of your review. I'm currently trying to grasp the basic ideas behind the minor arcana. Astrology, the Tree of Life, tarot correspondences - they're all quite new to me but I'm having fun with my crash course google!

I found it! I knew you must have done one. I belive I will make this purchase. Being a lass who found her way to tarot through astrology I would like the Babalon edition for the 12 decan cards. Not sure my pocket book can do that. Thanks again. The colors on these are nothing like I remember.
It must of been the specific cards I viewed. I remember vibrant reds and blues and while there is some it is not the majority. The palette is actually fantastic.
I got the black and white post card of the emperor card with my Rosetta tarot. I about died because the emperor card is astrological card Aries and it is so beautiful :)
would this deck be an easier or harder deck to learn the thoth based tarot system? I have a large Crowley deck that i haven't used yet cause im still trying to learn as much as i can about the rider waite but i intend on graduating into using a more elaborate system cause I'm a nerd with nothing better to do but the only downside with the Thoth deck I own is that i can already see that the images in them aren't going to be very easy for me to see much of the symbolism because as beautiful as they are the images arent really as sharp as this deck or the rider waite (maybe that was intentional). For some reason, I'm just really drawn to this deck after seeing several videos on it. Does anyone have any insight or advice? I see that this video was made several years ago so i assume that its not going out of print yet .

Dang I had spent most of my life studying Ancient Egypt. Yes, I had lived there for a month. HRU = Horus, son of the divine and a pure ruler. BTW, if you plan upon a visit, check with your US passport center to see if Egypt is safe. If so, bring jungle strength DEET. Ask about malaria pills, and penicillin for food poisoning. Have fun! BTW, The Adjustment card does it have the medieval notes from Gregorian Chant?

(Does it add to the symbolic interpretation of Golden Dawn stuff, correspondances,etc, like the bees on the Emperor for example). Take Care little Seed ;)

Very interesting but too busy, creepy, and redundant of the symbolism that i sensed as being of the negative occult that has, dare i say, demonic aspects; but perhaps it interprets how dark humans truly are, inherently. To me, owning or using it, would have the evil consequence when using spirit board. The caliber and concept of the drawings are icky, lol. The whole production of it is gimmicky and not worth it, though most tarot deck collectors seem to like things without aesthetics or benevolence. 2 words review: "eeeeek" "yuck."
