I do very similar using an ordinary back pack. I have a Plano tackle box with 4 plastic containers and spare gear I keep in the ute and grab whichever tackle container I need at the time and put it in the back pack. I have thought about getting that shimano back pack.
As a bloke with "broad shoulders 😊" , I too went to the back pack solution. But have to get more organized..and find more time for fishing! I also like to ride my bike to isolated spots, keeps hands free and keeps your "crap" level low; good work Matt
Yes, it's so much simpler. I can't believe it took me this long to get so organised. Though now, I have all the camera gear to carry too ;) Re the finding time part, that's why I started my channel... It kind of forces me to find the time, to get more content.
How do you find the comfort of carrying the pack? I find a lot of the cheaper variety backpacks aren't built for those of us who have broad shoulders, the straps look to be decent size.
Cheers thanks for that. It works really well when land based and needing to keep hands free to carry rods etc. Also makes sure I keep everything nice and tidy after each trip.
