watched your video from my phone, audio and lighting are fine, heard you clearly and glare was not an issue, I enjoy your videos, thanks for making them.
Your tackle room video setup is awesome - great audio and lighting. No glare when you showed the packaging - looks good. I'm a big fan of the Spro cranks. The Little John 50 in Watermelon Red Craw is my all time favorite bait for spring smallies. Those Jackall chunk craws look like a BOSS! Thanks for showing all the baits - looks like you might have enough to get you through a few outings :-) Now you need to go catch some! Tight lines.
+mburke1211 Hey bud, appreciate the comment! I'm a fan of the Fat John 60, so im pretty excited to try out the 50 and yeah I have high hopes for those Jackall chunk craws...they look sooooo NICE! This should be enough tackle to get me through the next week or so ;) Hope all is well man, thanks for watching!
I've been watching your videos for a while man and I enjoy them. I've stumbled across a few fishing channels on RU-vid but you and Gene have the best. Keep up the hard work!
Jim, when you held up the the crawdad colored Mega Strike soft bait close to the camera, it looked like the giant squid from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. All the lures should catch nice bass, they look mighty potent! That is a huge box! Considering you get a regular box every month, could even a pro bass fisherman use so much tackle? I love what you do, I just wonder a lot. :-) Great show my friend!
+Juanelo1946 There's no way anyone can fish all these TW mega boxes of tackle.....Kevin Van Dam's tackle room will have less. Fisherman's soap, now that's a new one on me.
Capt. Daves, I have to agree with you! Nobody could use so much tackle! I didn't even notice the Fisherman's soap. My eyes must have glazed over by then! :-)
Great video Jim. Some feedback, since you asked. The light, above the shelf in the corner, is just visible enough to make the top of the shot really bright. Like a few others have noted, there's a hum from something. The glare on the packaging wasn't that bad, only a few times could you really notice anything. I thought the sound was good. To be honest about it, I think that the only thing I would have noticed if you had not tipped me off to wanting feedback and such, would have been the light in the corner. Hope it helps, keep up the good work.
+JSF 4star Hey bud, thanks for the comment. You're right on the light in the corner, once I watched it back it was the first thing I noticed as well. Noise would be the AC running. Thanks again bud and thanks for watching!
Nice order Brother I know this was from September 2015 and I don't know how I missed this one. I will be ordering some stuff from Tackle Warehouse and will be doing an unboxing when I do I will let you know won't be anything big yet but at least it will be something. Stay warm and tight lines brother.
Nice! A lot of awesome gear in there Jim. Experimenting with new jig trailers? No matter how many I have I always am interested in finding the next great trailer. The jig not so much, but the trailers know no end! Also, sound is good and lighting is really good.
+KeepinItReelFishing Hey Carl! I've been eyeballing a bunch of new jig trailers and finally pulled the trigger and made a big order...and of course I forgot some stuff so I'm about to make another order, but I guess that's part of the disease :) I wonder if there will ever be a cure for it?!?! Yeah, I'm pretty set on jigs too. The NuJig has got them all beat in my opinion. Thanks for the input on the new set up!!
Tackle room looks good! I like your unboxing vids because I get to see baits that I normally wouldn't buy and you show them and then I buy baits. I'd give those crankbaits a try the bigger bass in your lake might bight the bigger bait especially since fall is coming.
+tj keisler Thanks TJ! Unboxing videos are a great way to see all the different tackle that's available, I like em too. I decided to keep those cranks, after I took them out of the package I was surprised how light they felt. The 1.2 may be tough to get some distance with.
for the audio I would recommend picking a spot in the room to do your recordings (prefer a corner if you can) and place sound batting squares in the corners. this'll remove the echo you get from being in a concrete room. depending on your microphone it may also remove the sound on what I think is your furnace . just my 2 cents. I've been wanting to do a large order from TW but shipping to Canada adds so much more to the order.
as for video quality it's great. small glare from the lights but the only really noticeable glare is when you hold the hard plastic covers to the camera we can see the lcd display of the camera or what I assume is the lcd display
Great vid Jim. The glare wasn't bad at all, like Ryan said, only on the hard bait packages was there a small glare. Audio was fine and i wouldn't change a thing with it. You're in a Tackle Room, so it is what it is, right. But seen as you want feed back, I did noticed at the end of the vid, my ears were picking up a slight noise that sounded like a waterfall.?.?.?... Or a lite wind blowing type noise. Probably from the Tackle Room door, maybe being slightly cracked open??.... Not sure what it is/was. Like i said, it's a Tackle Room, not a full blown recording studio. I think the vid was great and look forward to seeing more from you.
+twofastrc You only heard that at the end? I can hear it all the way through the video.. Sounds like he is under a vent and his AC is running or like I said the blower from his furnace. It's not horrible, I'm not saying that the video is unwatchable. He asked for Feedback and as minor as the audio is, I just wanted to give him my feedback on how to produce higher quality audio for his videos. Wonder why I can hear it throughout and you only hear it at the end... hmm
+Ryan Getchell Yup. I was just agreeing with you. I think I was just to in to the vid with the baits at the beginning..lol. I'm sure now that I pointed it out. I'll prolly be able to hear it all the way through next time I watch it.
+twofastrc Thanks for the comments guys! The noise you hear is the AC running, can't do much about that. Like you guys said its not a recording studio. Thanks for watching guys!
Hey good stuff man. I would like to see a follow up with you fishing these baits and insight on how you like them as well as the techniques you are using to fish them!
1.That's a lot of stuff probably almost half of what I own in soft plastics. 2. The lighting is not bad if you would like just take some camera shots at different angles holding stuff up towards the camera at different angles to see where your glare point is at. 3. The sound is not bad it does echo a little bit that's just because you're in a room without anything to absorb sound. But don't get carried away as long as we can see and hear you you're fine. 4. The design and color of some of those soft plastics is sick looking. Let's just hope that they are sick under the water catching fish as they are glistening in front of our eyes. 5. I see that you finally went out and got yourself some MegaStrike soft plastics because I know that Don uses them. 6. I know that you've been interested for some while in trying out different attractants and I have a variety myself but I'll be straight up honest with you the the best that I've ever used is Pro-Cure. Real bait fish, amino acids and UV flash I've even doctored up my hog tonic with UV-liquid. 7.One last thing do you still deal with power team lures because I haven't seen you do much video of them lately. 8. I apologize for making this so long but great job, take care and good luck at the MTB challenge.
+CTPRedDog1 Thanks for the comment Cliff! I will have to check out that scent. As far as PTL goes I left them last week actually. Appreciate the comment bud!
Good video as always. Glare not really an issue for me and sound is good. Just started using z-man lures here (Australia) the grubs are very effective.
I can hear you real good, better then before. try a special area for your revealing of your boxes, but try a red light, less glare, I think. you have given me some good ideas on soft plastics storage containers.is there any local trucking jobs in your area ? are you a military vet ?
Great baits man!! Let me know how you like those mega bass 1.5's. I love the shape and look of them. They look big to me too. Reminds me of the size of a bagley balsa square bill. Real beefy size.
hey that's a lot of plastics. nice order though. can you do a video on how you Texas rig those craws? specifically the dark bottom lighter other side with sparkles. I have a bunch of those and I can't really tell if im presenting them the most ideal way. I hook them on hooks and sometimes a jig head so a video with both would be really helpful for me. also you said something about using Jay Jays magic on the claws to make them chartuse. can you make a video on customizing soft plastics and different techniques. I follow you and flukemaster and I really enjoy you guy's.
+Tristan Rohlfs Hey Tristan! Thanks for the comment. That's a great idea for a video...which soft plastic again? Can you give me the name? I can do a video on a Texas-Rig and how to thread it on a jig if that's what you're looking for as well as how to customize soft plastics. That would be a fun video to do this winter. Thanks for your comment and I appreciate you following myself and flukemaster...Gene's a great guy!
Make your background wall your TackleJunkly81 sig. with the black background would look sweet! other then that video was great except I had to wear my sunglasses to watch that bald head glare was killin me!!! :-)
I know this vid is old, and you bought a lot of craws..... When throwing a craw style trailer on a jig, which do you prefer and why? What is the difference between them all? I don't want to waste money if they all perform kind of the same... I know that some displace water (more action) than others.. So what is your opinion and why? A) Strike King Rage Tail Rage Craw B) Yum Christie Craw C) Yum Craw Papi D) Powerbait Chigger Craw E) Zoom Speed Craw
the bite for the big bass is usually the first of summer i broke off like 3 7 pounders and got a 5 and a couple threes and also how big was your biggest bass ive always wondered that
Just started watching your videos and I'm hooked. If you get a chance let me know what you think of those D Stroyer's and the Xcite brand. I've been thinking about trying them out.
hey man would u ever come down to lake guntersville to do a little tournament ive watched almost all your videos and i think it would be awesome if i could just fish with u 1 time
