I’ve seen you around and just took a good look at your channel. I’m a new subscriber not only because I think your method is right, but looking over the content and messages about your personal life, and the weight of the haters you’ve been carrying it makes me want to show my support. Just do what you do and take care of yourself.
On most of the other's they were live group sessions & he had too much noise & people to deal with. This time a quiet session with only 2 dogs & owners to deal with he can display his technique & teach whilst he goes. 😊
I love the short vids and his music choice. I also love this style of video. For me, the group videos clearly show how effective DD is amongst the chaos he steps in to help. I love everything he does with the doggos. DD is very inspiring in that he clearly shows he can turn things around for the better. That can only come from the heart ❤️ DD has a huge heart for the fur-babies.
Hes so clever. I think hes just amazing. And why he has all the haters on his back is beyond me! Jealousy is a terrible emotion, and its just not worth your time or energy. So Dog Daddy....Never ever stop being you. Much love & respect from The 🇬🇧🐕🩵🐾❤️🐶
These are not unique training Methods! Very common sense & Natural . I lead you Follow ! You are watching a true expert in his Field . Try to teach Human ‘s this mentality! By far is his toughest Job !!
It IS just so easy!! To many people just can't listen, pay attention or use empathy! Handle a dog should be as natural as chowing your food! If not, stop yourself and take a VERY seriously look at you and get yourself back on natural track!
This is the thing, you read dogs and understand them, with your understanding they feel okay, when their owners understand what your teaching them, life can be sweet for both dogs and their owners!! Great job DD!! 😁👍
Dear Dog Daddy: No I’m not a customer but I am a subscriber. I feel compelled to tell you how much I appreciate your professionalism, instructions snd communication. I also feel your level of integrity is so sincere that comes through your videos. I do plan to follow through with your call to action to support the dog community. You are a blessing and thank you for openness and compassion❤
So glad to see you back on the job in spite of the personal issues you are dealing with! Praying you will have the strength to stick to the course and resist giving in to your addiction. Your videos, like this one, in which you teach people individually how to provide leadership to their dogs are especially helpful. Keep it up!
I think that as humans we think that we are being mean to our animals by being firm, but nothing could be farther from the truth! They WANT to have rules, they need us to be the pack leader, they want direction. Not training and socializing your Dog is like setting them up for a life of fear, and insecurity, aggression. Great session Dog Daddy!!!!💓
Very grateful to see you are alright and doing well ! 👍Thank you for sharing another session and perhaps self get an opportunity to witness skills in person 🙂 Stay Safe !💗 God Bless 🙏💗🐕
This is absolutely a God-given gift but you have to be able to understand and interact with animals like that. That is awesome and teach people besides with their animal. Hats. Off to you, sir God bless your heart.
You are no doubt a trainer who uses unique only to you methods that work on the most needy of dogs. After your lessons the dogs are noticeably greatful, relieved and In check. I admire , respect and see how genuine you are that means your future is only going to get better to the max❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great work DD and it's wonderful to see you back out there shining despite your injuries. Bless you and take good care of yourself. There are so many people who care about you that you don't know and I hope you can sense us in your corner. We've got your back ❤️
Fantastic Dog Daddy!! Absolutely Love your longer length training videos. I especially love how clearly you communicate with the owners so they have the tools and knowledge to continue training their beautiful dogs in the future. Great Job once again Augusto!!!
Every time he takes initial control of the dog, they resist, but then they learn he's in charge very quickly. Then you can see where they are almost relieved that they finally have someone who knows what they need. Their behavior changes so fast when they are with him.
DD does a great job cutting thru the BS and getting to the heart of the issue - weak owners, fearful owners, no strategy to deal with the aggression they've unwittingly created in their dogs...
I hope you know what you do really makes a difference for so many owners and their dogs. Don’t ever let the haters get you down. Keep doing what you do. 😊
TXJ: Yes, he has effective & sane advice for owners living in reality. God Bless him. Snowflake haters aka 'trolls' 100% using harnesses on their viscous dangerous untrained woke dogs.
One thing I was taught that instead of saying "good girl" or "good boy" to say"yes" immediately if your dog is doing what you ask of them. "Good girl or boy" is kinda drawn out and the dog can forget what prompted the phrase. "Yes is a lot faster". One more thing - I don't understand why people are hating on you. I've watched your videos and you are not choking the dog. Most dogs do that to themselves when they continually pull on the leash. People need to pay attention to what you are actually doing, then they would know you are not hurting the animal.
Hi DD. I love watching you work with dogs and their people. You are a natural, and you do what you do with grace and love. And this is surely why you have haters. Haters are self-hating, but they try to avoid dealing with their feelings by projecting them onto other people, especially those whose light shines brightly, as yours does. We must not carry others' darkness for them. We each have our own darkness to deal with. You keep on doing your thing, helping people and dogs, just as it seems you were made to do. Take care of yourself. ☮️
I’m training to become a dog groomer and I’ve been using your shorts to really brush up on my dog body language. I’m more familiar with cats and plan on working with both animals, so you have no idea how much your videos are helping. Appreciate you, and well done on the video. I think this was your best one yet.
THANK YOU FOR THIS DD!! I've been volunteering at my local shelter, & trying to learn how to manage more aggressive dogs so that I can upgrade my skills. I actually want to show your vids to the Dog Staff & seeif they're interesting in any DD Training Programs. One of my probs is I Do get scared when our more aggressive dogs get spicy, & I'm trying to get over that. Thank you so much for helping us DD 🥰🐾👍🏻
I love this. Whenever my life's been in a shambles, and I wanted to just cancel my appointments and hide from my clients the most and I was 100% sure I'm gonna be half assed, but that thing that calls me calls me and I show up and do my thing and the owner is relieved and the dog is relieved and somehow I give the best lesson ever. It just seems to make me that much better and I'm like oh right. That other shit in the background, that's just being human. This, this is my gift. And you, Agosto, you have it times 1000. I am sure you didn't want to show up and make this video but I am so impressed that you did. And it's so GOOD. I freaking LOVE this format. I got so much out of it. THANK YOU! 🤗🤗🤗💕💕💕
This was very helpful. I have a 2 year old golden labrador female and she is very much like the white dog, very timid and frightened of new people so she will bark and growl when they are near her. When she's with us, we give her a few minutes to sniff around the new person, not look at her while we're doing this which gives her the opportunity to realise the person is no threat then she calms down and allows the new person to play with her, even stoke her (which she normally will not tolerate with new people). I'm also going to use the method Dog Daddy shows with the re-direction. Thanks DD, great advice.
You are excellent at what you do with training dogs and owners. It's a gift, you're special. Take good care of yourself because exciting things await you. 🙏🏾 9:54
Hi Dogdaddy im new to watching you too and you amaze me how quick you can sort these dogs temperament out. I love this video and i love you. Haters ? Water off a ducks back. Keep doing your amazing work because not only are you training the dog and teaching families what to do, you are also putting a stop to these dogs biting or even killing someone. Thank you and your a beautiful human being ❤
I love how get control of the aggresive dog so quickly. I have an aggresive dog, she is a rescue and has had 4 other owners before we got her. We had a trainer but she didn't teach us how to fix the aggresive behavior. We watch videos and work with her but it is tough when you don't know what to do and when you don't have any experience working with aggresive dogs
1:58 oh girlll I just wanna give you a hug! I know what you mean, been there and my dog was 5lbs. Stressed me out so bad. I'm rooting for you and your doggo!
@8:17 amazing how you know that the growl is “innocent.” I’m always so impressed at how you apply your techniques but they are so individualized to each dog’s personality.
Hi, Dog Daddy! You do so well with your techniques! It was so beautiful to see the bulldog without that muzzle on. That muzzle looked like it was making the dogs mouth area, very red & sore. I do hope that the woman with the barking terrier figures out a way to make her dog stop marking its territory. On a side note, I do hope that you're doing well in your recovery. One day at a time.
Firstly. Thank God for you. Sane, logical and (most importantly) effective training advice. Training tips for overly friendly, jumping on guests at my home, problem. Every single other "trainer" vids= "tie em up, problem solved" Grrrr! Seriously, "tie up fix" is the only solution out there... till I found you.
I need your help Dog Daddy! 😢 I have a dachshund with lots of behavior issues and my 4 year old son was recently diagnosed with autism. It’s a crazy mix around here but we need some peace and order. The barking never stops. Ever.
I don't like it as a first resort but I've had multiple people tell me a bark collar changed their life! And that they mostly just use the vibrate or beep option, rarely the shock. Best of luck to you! I bet thats overwhelming often.
I’m your new fan just over a week but I love your work with these dogs, people will hate you because you’re better than them and more importantly you’re so unique DD. Greetings from Hong Kong China 👏👏👏👏👏
DD, you are the best 👌🏻💯 You so know your stuff and it feels, like it almost comes natural to you👍🏻 Me, too, love this longer video, with clear instructions for the owners and us, the listeners, great watching, thank you, keep up this wonderful teaching and ignore the haters, they are sooo jealous, because you are successful and loved by sooo many ❤
It’s so frustrating to me that people don’t take getting a dog more serious. It’s a huge responsibility and training/socialization starts from day one. Also, not everyone is a good match for certain breeds. I love German Shepherds but I will never own one bc I just don’t have the right personality for that type of dog. None of the dogs I see on here are bad dogs. They’ve just had bad parenting. And I don’t say that to be mean. Some people just bite off more than they can chew!
@TheDogDaddy... just an idea... follow up videos of 'where are they now?'... checking back in to see how the dogs/owners you helped in the past have greatly benefitted from your intervention and living happy lives presently. That would be a very good slap in the face to the haters ❤ Absolutely love your spirit and greatly admire your talent with the doggos.
You have to commit to training and understand what the breed of dog was initially bred for. I have a cane corso and had one in the past who I lost about a year ago. There is tons of training info available for all breeds. I try and stimulate my pup best I can I just found this guy and he’s great. Definitely has a lot to offer. Healing is my biggest issue right now with my 5 month old but not giving up is key. A quick mid day walk that should take 25 mins takes 40 mins lol which is a pain especially in the winter here in Canada. Thanks DD I’m following you for sure!
Thank you so very much! This was a fantastic video and I greatly appreciate you sharing your knowledge. You have amazing natural talent, and you're an amazing person, Dog Daddy.
