Same here in South Africa! That water that you fished at the end looks amazing! I take its close to a river mouth if i look at the colour of the water. 🎣🤟🏻

I agree with your comments regarding the use of mono chasing mulloway. If braid gets caught around the rocks the fish is very likely to get away. I use 30lb mono gets caught on rocks and still get the fish.

Hi just wondering if I can catch jewfish a bright coloured lures I have a burley powerbait prerigged giant ripple in the purple Tiger colour. Or dk you think you always should stick to natural colouring?

Thanks man !! I’m about to start the hunt 🙃 just got a Saragossa and a 7 ft Samaki / I know it’s short but it need it for yak fishing also . Do you fish areas like the one in the video at night ??

In the video it looks like flood water, generally when fishing in those conditions it doesn’t matter whether you fish day or night because of how dirty the water is. When the water is cleaner, it is definitely better to fish at night or low light conditions.

Hey Mate, Sorry for the late reply! I got the fish molds done by Glenn Stewart From Marine & Freshwater Fishmounts at Chinderah. He honestly does some of the best work I have ever seen!!
