This actually just shows that Truff has a huge premium on their sauces. I highly doubt Taco Bellis going to take a loss for a sauce not many people even know about. It's a great exposure for Truff. I think it's a win win for both party's

Even though it probably makes less profit than the normal bottles, it's essentially free marketing, it's likely why the containers are the normal sauce size, because now everyone's going to talk about it making free marketing
I just saw Truff hot sauces at my job today. We had some samples thankfully so I get to try it before I decide if it's worth it. I'm sure TB gets them in bulk or has a partnership with Truff making the bottles a lot cheaper.
That’s cause truff sauce likely costs a few cents at most per bottle, and they are simply selling it at an inflated price because the market for “high end” and “exotic” hot sauces is up.
Lol man people really seem to forget the value of truffles. Just a few good flakes costs dollars. It's really the only thing in this sauce that really separates it from anything else. Truffles are known to enhance other flavors hot sauce is a bit of a reach but I get it. Either way idk what to think until I try it.

I tried the truff fries today.. I was super excited about it. Then I tried them... And they tasted foul, that sauce stunk up my kitchen something fierce 🤣
The partnership is a promotional event for Truff sauce. It's basically to get people hooked on Truff sauce offering a special deal to Taco Bell. There's definitely going to be a cut off time where the promotion ends and people go hunting for the sauce.
The box of sauce is expensive but the bags can fill up two bottles idk exaclty how much the sauce bottles hold in ounces but it’s probably like 8-10 ounces a bag
Its not lol. Not even close. A loss leader is when they actually sell at a cost lower than what they produce. In this case, the sauce is just overpriced. Do you seriously believe the cost of production for that sauce is 24$? Obviously not. You really think it would cost them 1$ to make that little amount of sauce? Hell no. The whole bottle itself would be less than 1$ to produce, let alone a little tub.
@@titan8084 black truffles and truffles in general are expensive and hard to come by in large quantities. a sauce in that quantity I'm guessing would cost between $17-$21 dollars to produce in ingredient cost alone

They use what’s called ‘essence’ or other chemically engenieered shit that taste like truffle when it isn’t. If you read the ingredient list of this product, there is no truffle, it literally says ‘olive oil infused with black truffle essence’, which is basically truffle aroma. Not real truffle. If you’re buying crap like this thinking it’s real truffle, I’m sorry to break it to you but your getting scammed.
@@MrDonKP You’re not getting that much truffle. I’ve been working in kitchens for 10 years and whenever we order truffle oil it’s 10$ a bottle for a litre of it and the truffle content is maybe 1% of the total volume, people overestimate how much truffle is actually in these producta
Because food is always multiple times cheaper to produce than the store asking price. They can easily afford this deal with the trade that they get more clout.

When you buy in that much bulk you get pretty insane deals. It’s also marketing for Truff, which probably means they’re giving Taco Bell an even better deal on their bulk sauce purchase. Truff also doesn’t have to spend on that fancier packaging or labeling for the bulk orders, which saves even more cost
