Every man and his dog has this setup over here in Australia. That being said love the setup and it’s so amazing how people can tailor there setups to suit them. Very versatile
Dude!!!! Upgrade!!!! Love the idea of it but I also loved your old set up as well. Always pushing it to the next level bro and I love that. That kitchen set up with the awning lights bro… sickness… it’s really operational it looks like man and you better have some killer trips lined up to test it all. Tent is different an I dig it but how does it sleep? Thanks for the video man and the info always a fan cheers 🍻 dude 👊😎
Nice but i would swap positions of the fridge and the kitchen due to that stove being too close to the gas fill for my comfort level. Any fumes escaping that cap and youre toast.
The utility of that set looks awesome. The tent facing the front does look odd, but having the “deck” makes up for it. Probably see more like that in the future. Good job! 👍🏻❤️🇺🇸
I want to be this dude when I grow up!.. if I decide to grow up. Buddy, what a badass setup! love the capacity and layout. all you need is bee spray! lol SUB'd
Cool, but that GFC setup seemed better. This looks very expensive for the casual weekend warriors.( just shopping for a setup now, no skin in any game yet).
I would like to see an update video about your LIthium battery that you run all of that off of. If I remember correctly, and older video of yours said the battery system was a prototype. How well does that battery hold up to heat and cold? Does it have any kind of shutoff or heater inside of the battery for cold temperature charging?
That’s correct. So far it hasn’t skipped a beat. Thanks for the reminder. It’s been almost a full year. I wanted to test it in extreme cold and extreme heat, both of which passed.
Here’s a link to it. If you decide to pull the trigger, remember you can use my code for 15% off of it. ARKOFFROAD15 dirtboxoverland.com/products/copy-of-tilted-slider
That’s mega setup, like it when the trays end up shorter they look ace and don’t seem too lose much space because of low draws and volume high up. Really like the rear draw that is cool once pushed in weight nice n low and near axle. Thought you were going too run a spod switching system in there ? Nice going bet your proud of sorting that lot. ✊
Doing my best to not spend my life saving on my already expensive truck and you HAD to drop this vid :(. That being said well done, can’t wait to see more both you and dirtbox
Cool idea with the tent flipped around to have a porch if you have a rack over the cab. Need to put some lawn chair up there. Lol. Should put the ladder on the canopy side tho so can get down and right under canopy no?
That kitchen is an awful design. Grease goes all over the whole thing while cooking and there is no real prep area unless you are just making a sandwich. A lot of wasted space in that tray compared to the new Armadillo, the Dirtbox trays are too high
Thanks for the feedback! Have you had the chance to test out the kitchen for yourself to confirm this? What kitchen are you running currently? What changes would you make to solve the problems you foresee? Our whole design is based on off road functionality and durability. -Cheers!
I actually like it a lot, and it may have been a bit deceiving. My stove is in the "storage" position. I don't cook with it up there, I cook with it on the level below it, right next to the sink. That way grease doesn't splatter and its at a lower level. Plus, it frees up the top slide to access the contents inside.
Sure are. I tell that to anyone who asks. I’m promoting the product because it’s very high quality and works extremely well. If those 2 things are covered, who cares where it comes from. I know that’s the general stigma, but I wouldn’t own this if it sucked. Every single person that I’ve showed in person is just in awe and they can’t believe it’s not America made. I also learned the history of the company and how one of the owners is from China. He controls all manufacturing and is one of the most hardcore overlanders I know.
@@ArkansasOffroad thanks for the confirmation that these are made in China. Do you have any insight or knowledge on why the Dirtbox camper looks exactly like a camper sold by a Canadian company called BF Campers Delta that was released over a year ago? Or any knowledge on the OVS Magpak camper which is coming out with an exact copy as the Dirtbox one? Are they made in Chinese factory? Who actually owns the IP on these campers since they all look alike?
So sick Grant! The factory bed kinda covers the cab corners and looks clean, have you considered extending your sliders toward the back to streamline with the dirtbox? The transition from cab to flatbed seems a little abrupt. I realize you said this was the original for Tacoma’s, and I’m certainly not trying to be critical.
Wow , dude this thing is so freaking awesome ,,,,, is amazing on how much room you have now comparator to your GFC ,, great workaround on this for sure ,,,,,I like the reinforcement on the frame tore the rear , always a big plus , great vid overall,,, 😎✌️😎✌️😎✌️
