From 2023 to 2024 Tacoma added 2,700 people. From 2020 to 2024 some 5,700 have been added. Meaning in just one year we grew faster than previous times. Usually we grow around .64% year over year. The 2022-2023 we grew by .73%, but 2023-2024 we almost doubled that to 1.21%. The city now has a population of 225,000.
