Tacoma is a K-POP hub and we may get a midtown!

Tacoma is one of the top places for #kpop groups to visit when coming to America. We had one or two K-Pop bands such as TWICE come here and it was sold out both times. This year there are three different K-Pop bands coming to Tacoma such as Ateez, Enhypen, (G)I-DLE, and Tomorrow X Together. In the mall a new store called KPOP Station has fan gear. We also recently got a bunch of Japanese stores as well.
Also just south of the downtown business district lies a road called Tacoma Ave S. It has been a major hub of new apartment buildings going up with many more in the future. The amount of development has some pushing for this area to be called Midtown. Hopefully it gains steam and we have another unique district.
Tacoma is on an upward trend and in the fun teenage stage of cities.

Glad you're making this video. As someone who's lived here my entire life and has been a massive kpop fan for years I love this. One thing people may not know is not all kpop stars are Korean. These days almost every new group has at least 1 foreign members. Like for instance one of the enhypen members is from Seattle. Also given how hard they train and how busy they are it's always tough for them because they don't know how many years it will be until they can perform in their home and unfortunately some never get to because the place they're from doesn't really allow kpop.

Like for instance PSY the guy who did Gangnam style still regularly puts out new music and sells out stadiums consistently

Also i think its worth pointing out not all kpop fans are young teenagers. You have kpop groupes that have been around for 15, 20, 25 years. Also in kpop many of the older artists still continue to regularly make new music and perform. Many people that are fans of a group have been a fan since the beginning of that group.

True I remember a woman who was in a kpop group when she was younger. She then had a bed and breakfast with her husband and they had a show on Netflix I believe. It was a really cool thing to see and she was such an amazing person and her husband was insanely talented with making music. I think they sold the bed and breakfast now, but it was a pretty cool show.
