Bound by friendship, fueled by adrenaline… we went exploring in the All-New 2024 @toyotausa #Tacoma TRD Pro! #ToyotaPartner #ad Learn more about the Tacoma: c8.io/u2wE7D
I guess being in partnership with Toyota means being their shrill in advancing a 65k truck the likes of which nobody asked for. Hydro dynamic seats….WTF! Those certainly come in handy on paved streets. Powered tailgate, give me a break. Just more crap to waste ones money. Get rid of those two items and by Toyotas standards you should save 10k.
Great video! Although idk wtf Toyota is doing with their pricing. I was a Toyota fan, drank the Toyota Kool-Aid, but their new pricing made me vomit it out.
You made the compression stiffer for washboard surface? Seems anything off-road besides doing high speed whoops and rallying would benefit from the softest setting.
this was awesome. seeing normal but fun people going on a fun adventure into pretty landscape, that doesn't require or focus on tons of additional equipment and technical expertise (which i can see you have) that I will never bother to learn, apart from a great version of a stock vehicle. nice video. would be great to see a winter version too involving snow covered roads and fireplaces AND whether to use 2H or 4H if there are mixed surfaces eg asphalt with regular patches of snow and ice :) ❄️ ⛄️ i relate to the enjoyment of the driving experience itself and your passion for high speed desert running with the ability to tune the Fox shocks on the fly and the focus on the thrills but without being obsessed with a whole bunch of other gear. i think there are plenty like you who want a fun vehicle who enjoy off-road driving but also want to focus on things like hiking, fat biking, photography, etc, and not on building some even more expensive and highly modified overland rig. maybe get Toyota to send you to do another one of these in Alaska or Canada?
We took our (my) 23 TRD Off Road, Double Cab, 6’ bed on its First Dirt a couple of weeks ago. It was fun on the WA BDR from Cashmere to Entiate (WA state). We couldn’t make it the whole way because the snow got too deep, but nonetheless we had fun.
I'm sure the videos don't do the actual experience justice. Every time we've gone out and tackled an obstacle the video makes it seem like a 2/3 out of 10 difficulty LOL. Thanks for always putting out quality and transparent content Chloe!
@@Yoyomanmanholla Incorrect. That was the case with the old 3rd gen Pro, but not any more. I have a video on my channel all about it the differences and there are quite a few now. They are more like an offroad focused limited model now. The Trailhunter and Pro also have unique steering racks which is a big one. They also have the lighting differences, interior quality differences, width difference, armor, and seat bar disconnect. It goes beyond that as well.
Good job in showing why to use things like shock settings, 4low, multi terrain monitor ect. Good partnership with Toyota. Many people do not now WHY they should use these features. Good job!
I see that the COMPLETELY ALL NEW, Tacoma still has the same old Gloomy Grey interior that became popular in 1990. No thank you ! My 23 TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed with the premium and technology pkgs came with Death Black Leather interior, so I promptly had Katzkin make me Red Leather seat covers with black trim and stitching. I sold the factory leather to a friend who had gray cloth interior in his 23 TRD Off Road. After Katzkin removed my black leather and replaced it with the red leather, they took my friends gray cloth and installed my black leather. It was a Win Win. I then took my White TRD to the body shop and had them 3 tone my Tacoma with Barcelona Ted metallic following the body lines of the Tacoma.
I'm in Vancouver, Canada. Was looking at trading in my 2013 TRD that I've owned since new for one of these. Until I saw they cost $88,000 MSRP. The Trail Hunter is $90,000.
@@jamesjoung2793 Yeah, that's the plan now. Quite a few people have said that to me. Just upgraded the stereo, It's in amazing shape, been indestructible from day one, and I've taken it everywhere.
BiG TiME *"**#Toyota_Tacoma**"* Fan Boy here. I own both a 2010 Tacoma and a 2018 Tacoma. 2010 feels like and drives like Truck, but the 2018 is smooth like a car. Keeping these babies a long time, the 2024 V4 twin Turbo is a No-No for me. The 2024 Nissan Frontier still has a V6 and of course sells for less than the 2024 Tacomas. Toyota shoves whatever they want on their customers and we are supposed to be grateful for the nasty Toyota Salva hanging on our face. 🤤 . *"NOPE"* 👎🏼 🤨 ~○~
Sorry Chloe I can't get in to the 2024 Tacoma I'm 64 years old and have had many Tacoma 4X4 all with a V6 and that is what it should have in it I like everything about the new Tacoma, but by putting in a 4cylinder it will be the death of the Tacoma and they are not selling like Toyota would like them to and I can't forget about the Tundra that got the Tacoma's motor? Toyota bring back the Tacoma's V6 and the Tundra's V8 and you would have a to great trucks I have been to three dealers, and they got Tacoma's in stock, and no one wonts them Sad days for use true Taco lovers
Well I’m 65 and have put 2500 miles on mine. My son has a 2023 with V6 and likes the turbo 4 better than his 6. It does not lack for power and climbs the local 2500’ elevation mountain better than the 6. The basic engine is proven in other Toyota vehicles. I’ll stick with actual experience from owning one.
You’d have to be a fool to do business with a dealership that plays the mark-up game. How hard is it to find a dealership that doesn’t do mark ups? You talk like we have no choice. Silliness
Great video Chloe! I love that it is super relatable and shows both an experienced and a sort of newbie perspective to offroading. I'm currently deciding between the GX, 4Runner, and LC. Can't wait to start my own adventures.
Sorry Chloe but think I’ll keep my 23 trd pro little longer I can’t see myself spending that kind of money for a 4 banger 😂 but keep the videos coming thanks again 😊
I've seen 600+hp Tacos. However they were all LS swapped that would fly through that😅. Wheel travel is queen😅. You should definitely check out Dirt Lifestyle with Nate. They do quite a bit of these.
The fact that it’s $10k more than a Ranger raptor, but barely gets 2mpg better on the highway and is otherwise inferior really makes you think. Great looking truck, but $55k seems like a better price point!
Guys, "off-roading" is inherently dangerous ". 😄 Very cool truck, but even as a Toyota fan I don't understand why anyone would buy a TRD Pro over the Ranger Raptor at this price (assuming MSRP without dealer markups).
Engaging 4L AND the locker on that first obstacle set was 100% unnecessary. My 11 year old 4R would walk that in 4H alone no problem, even with its old shite tires.
Toyota trying really hard to push this overpriced trucks with this RU-vidrs that the only thing they do is hurt the car market by pushing the narrative that is ok for a car manufacturer to charge this kind of prices
Agree with you Toyota has had a lot of RU-vidrs come out to their events to build up the excitement. I'm sure it was fun those like Chloe. But $65K for the new Pro when the 2023 was $53k is a little much. I can't believe the new 4 banger will stand the test of time like the V6.
Great Adventure. Too bad the new Tacoma is extremely overpriced and is only available with a turbo or turbo/hybrid. Hard pass on the new truck. My '21 can do all of this just as well with much more long term piece of mind and at HALF the cost when I bought it new.
You act like you are crawling massive boulders. Literally a Subaru outback can do this and you needed a spotter. This is so ridiculous. You’re trying so damn hard to sell this new truck as super capable and exciting. Like when you jumped the pro but they would only let you jump at a calculated speed at which it feels perfect. Lmfao
i like you , but maybe for your heritage you got this Partnership with Toyota, Personally I would have give this to the guys of TFL, they know and can explain this better than you guys, sad in my opinion.
Just looking good trash. These are not any more about durability, sturdy things. I tried to get one, but changed my mind. It's not Toyota anymore. It's gone. I felt Toyota is so greedy that ruins everything on their own reputation.
