The suspension aspect of this kit consists of rebranded Bilstein 5100’s and a 1” lift block. I went that route for a significant savings and a lifetime warranty on new suspension components from Bilstein, vs 12/36 month from Toyota. If you really want an oem Pro Grille with garnish you would purchase that separately, or go with a quality aftermarket. I went aftermarket which included front camera mount/garnish and had zero TSS issues , 8 months later and still working perfectly .
Bought a 21 Taco TRD O/R, a few months ago, and it came with this package. It looks and rides great. Bought the TRD matte black rims and waiting to get tires now. Love my Taco
I have the trd lift on my 21 trd offroad. Mine is white and I added bronze trd pro wheels and used a 275/70r17. 30.6 is stock snd yhese are 32.2. Looks good and doesn't feel different than stock. Speedo os barely off and accelerates the same. Lost about 1 to 2 mpg
Love that toyotas are super reliable but come on toyota make your trucks easier to modify. Putting on 35s on your trucks is a mission and requires lots of modifying. Take notes from your competitors. Offer better options !
This is exactly why I love Toyota this is why I buy Toyota this is why I love Toyota. Did I mention how much I love Toyota? I can't wait to get it for my 2020 TRD off-road truck
Hello Drew, thank you for your inquiry. The TRD Lift Kit is available for the Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab 4X4 with 5' bed. Please keep in mind that vehicle options, accessories and configurations vary by dealer and region. We suggest continuing to work closely with your local Toyota dealership to confirm if this accessory is available in your region. ^EA
Called a dealer and asked about the lift kit , he stated that it can't be used on the access cab 4 cylinder , my question is why ? I wanna lift my truck too....
From what I've read bailey is correct. One question though, why lift the 4 cylinder? The v6 isn't quite enough for a trd offroad all stock. I imagine the 4 cylinder eith wheels and a lift would have a 0-60 of eternity and would struggle offroad as well. You would have to use steeper gears (6+ ratio maybe) in the diff to make up for those mods.
Hi there, we recommend getting in contact with your local Toyota dealership regarding any vehicle lift configurations. To find your closest dealership, please visit: www.toyota.com/dealers/. Thank you for your inquiry. ^BP
Toyota, I get that you're marketing your lift kit but why not make it a fair comparison? You change the angle of the camera and add more aggressive wheels and tires for the after shot. A buyer like myself wants to see a true before and after. If your products are as good as you say they are, you won't have to mislead your consumers. Just saying.
Ok… what is the main reason that makes this lift kit not compatible with a 2WD??? I have a Tacoma Sport 2020 2WD with premium package and i want to lift it too!
For anyone unaware, you can only get this lift kit for specific models... Double cab long beds can't, TRP Pro can't get it, neither can any 2wd or 4cylinder models...
alright, this settles the debate for me. 2 inch lift doesn't require diff drop and any aftermarket kit tells me otherwise is just trying to make more money.
From everything I can read, doing a diff drop is just a bad idea regardless. Mod or rebuild your CVs to accommodate for the wear on the boots, replace the needle bearing and send it. Add driveshaft spacers if you're binding in the rear.
Hi there, the TRD Lift Kit is designed to be compatible with 2018 MY+ Tacoma V6 4X4. It is not compatible with the 2nd-generation Tacoma. Thanks for your inquiry. ^CB
@@canalesivany it’s what I figured, but wanted confirmation from the Toyota rep to see if they would respond with anything possibly in the works for Pros.
Can somebody help me? I have a 22 Tacoma TRD Off Road double cab, long bed and I head on some videos that the TRD Pro lift kit won’t work on my truck.😢 can someone confirm or deny that? Please
