This is the common mans review of the Bridgestone All Terrain KO2 tires in 285/75r16. They performed very well i decided to get another set but in 275/70r 16 because i needed more torque to tow a boat.
I’ve been running my 2002 Tacoma on 275/70 R16 BFG AT/KO for over ten years now. I still get good acceleration and approx 16mpg. I was debating moving up to the larger 285’s but thanks to your video I see the benefits of sticking with the 275’s.
Good info, thanks. You made up my mind on tire and size. 275 BFG ko2 it is and hopefully no rubbing with my stock suspension. No towing here unless I get a small pop camper.
I'm on 285/70/17 with 5.29 gears and 87 Octane tune and it still struggles.. regearing makes a big difference for sure compared to the stock gears. I have an auto though so not sure how your manual is
@@OutofWORKoutdoorsHey dude I know I’m late to the show but I’ve got the 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport all factory w/o mud flaps. Im ordering a set of KO2s. Can I do the 275/70/17 on factory wheels with factory height? I watched the video and I appreciate all of the info.
Very good review where he ordered those 275/70r16 I think that’s a very good measure for my Tacoma. I’m currently in measure 265/70r16 ko2 but I’m thinking of going to 275 where I find that average
Getting a 23 taco TRD pro was wondering if you recommend a 265-75-16 or 275-70-16? Gonna do some off road occasionally and hauling some stuff for work.
off raod, if you have stock, then 285s cut down on real articulation, plain and simple. 285s look saweet for sure, but thier performance is not great , expecially with stock suspension.
Informative Fisherman is a fake. He can't hook up in private lakes. That's what I have been telling people. Now he comes out to admit it. That's not what makes him terrible. He uses short trout rods with tiny reels as shown in the common fishing magazines. Then he uses those kiddie red and white round bobbers to catch trout. You tell me who the hell fishes like that? Kids? Freaking amazing how people gravitate towards these YT icons. Remember that buff guys are not fit and if a fat or buff guy teaches self-defense like Michael Jai, you can believe it's not real. IF says anything on a jighead that's small constitute what a Ned is. What's your definition of Ned? IF says chatters can have two split rings, and these adults still think he knows how to fish. Ridiculous!
If you look at Trout Made from a new lense, then the guy seems legit as heck. But, if you really know fishing, the guy is a fraud with a beautiful professional logo. How do I know? BC he said 2 years ago he didn't know about mini tubes and he was bragging about how good his Ugly Stix was. Then he goes to show a Phenix spin as a trout rod. You see my problem?
Hey bro how’s it going I have a question can I use the 275 70 R16 on my stock rims with out rubbing and do you think it would do ok towing my bass tracker 17ft
Just built a Staples DuraMark Permanent marker topwater walker and two self-custom best spinnerbait known to man. The topwater is only tail-weighted to sit high and upright much like a Spook. Now for the testing phase. Stickbaiters should like it I suppose. That's not all. Did other things like modded an Abino.
Being fit is like fishing. It's not about just muscles. A true fitness icon should know what to eat, how to destress, how to workout, have cardio, etc. A true fishermen ought to be versatile. He is not a tournament fisher, a weekend warrior, visionist, a builder, a creator, a guide, or a boater. He is everything.
Thanks for your review, helps me think of what I'll go with after my current ko2s wear out. Not sure if I missed it though, but what are your 285s rated at? And Correct me if I'm wrong but It looks like the 275s are D rated? Which I'm thinking of going down too from my Es, that or c rated.
Update: tested the mascara lure. It sits like a stickbait. It pulls like a stickbait, but can also walk wide like a freshwater walking bait. To do this, the center weight must not be bottom drilled but centered and free float inside the lure. It's crazy. Has rattles and everything. I'm sure Orca fans will like it.
I run a 2 inch level suspension kit from Falcon Shocks...on factory wheels with 265/75/16's. That seems to be the sweet spot for me...No re-gearing or tuning needed on my 2020 TRD OR 4x4...I'm averaging MPG: 19 Hwy 15 City...
I have to agree with you on these tires. I currently am running 265/70/17 on my Tacoma and love them. They are in my opinion the best looking tire and haven’t gotten me stuck yet. Up here in Jersey we get mixed weather and looking forward to driving em in the snow to test them out more. Thanks for the video it was very informative and now I know I can go bigger with just a little rubbing.
At the highest level, the secrets come to you like spirits. For example, you look at an underspin and you know how to build the best spinnerbait known to man.
