Love the set up. Everyone always goes 3” lift with 35’s which personally seems like too much for a mid size truck to me. This set up looks perfect. Hope to see more videos soon bro 👍🏽

I’m wanting to get that exact tire and wheel setup. 285/75/16 General Grabber A/T x with SCS BR6 16x8 -12 since that’s the only option they have for 16 inch wheels. I was thinking about going with Bilstein 6112 / 5160 with add a leaf. Probably SPC uca and hopefully this would level it with no rubbing. Curious what kind of mpg you get with that current setup with the 285/75/16 you get versus your old setup with 265/75/16.
I’m really thinking on getting that Dobinsons MRR suspension. Will it lift it to 3”? I thought you said it gave you 2” lift. I’m worried about rubbing and you got the spc upper control arms which gave you adjustment but I’m thinking about going with JBA upper control arms But unfortunately, they’re not adjustable. Same size tire 285/75/16 AT/x with SCS BR6 or Ray 10 in 16x8 -12 offset
Great vid as always! I've got a tiny bit of rubbing with my 265/75R16 Hercs on the mud flaps that only annoys me when I'm fully locked turning in reverse. I know when I go up to 285s or even 295s I've got a lot of trimming to do, but also a cab-mount chop will likely be in order. You going to CMC too?
Thankfully, no! That was my main intention around the setup and size, as much as I can comfortably go without any massive chopping or regearing. As amazing and cool as 35’s would be offroading / trails etc. going any bigger would 100% need a regear. Then it just becomes a headache for maintennce and reliability and I do a lot more like camping hiking biking kayaking etc so want to keep it still reasonably reliable and such.
Good vid, I fit the exact same tire with no lift on my 18, and 22 taco, stock wheel offset is the key 😀🤘🇨🇦 its the size tire the truck should've come with stock and the wildpeak at3ws are killer in the snow aired down
Nice man, I'm thinking of getting the dobinsons MRR full suspension kit as well. I have the SPC UCAs with 285 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and was able to keep the OEM mudflaps without any rubbing. Any comments on the MRRs? Just wondering, how high of a lift do you have on the front and rear?
Totally didn't mention the 14 mm bolt that holds the upper control arm. Did we cutt it and replace it backwards the easy way, or beat and pry inner finders?
They are Morimoto XB's Headlights, the Version 1, and the Version 2 has the option to go amber as DRL too which looks cool. These are white with turn signal switchback.,
@@Okzander yes and yes - plastic only - no metal ! -12 offset , I’m not sure how other offsets may require , perhaps less cutting I’m not sure tho! Report back what your sizes end up
@@SpencerHogg Thanks man will do! Trying to decide if I should do a method wheel with 0 offset or a scs wheel like yours with the -12 offset. I think the -12 would look cooler but its hard to tell until u see it in person.
