Good to hear after all this time Ant and Opie can see eye to eye! And wow him and Burr are good now too...I guess the big goof Club Soda didn't get the memo.
I agree with Ant re. Johnny Sack in sopranos. Such a nuanced character (in a show filled with them). I think he may have repressed more than any other character, always sucking on his anger and burying it. The only time I think the real Johnny Sacrimoni presented was when he was out for Ralph's blood. But even then he went to Tony, then Carmine first. Also fits the smoking, cancer and crying. The other guys would have just, Ralphy would have caught an unexplained mischief. Not that John wouldn't, and couldn't. He just always repressed. Much like his wife who then ate it away.
Italians are White. Us European descendants really need to start seeing each other as brothers and not distant strangers if we don’t want our people to go extinct.
Because, if his parents didn't have great medical insurance, he'd have been a midget. Being a little person for much of his childhood, he learned how to backstab, and turn people against each other to get ahead.
@@warshipsatin8764 Probably true, but considering that O&A never really recruited 'the brightest and the best', that's not much of an accomplishment. More than anyone else, Sam realised that O&A used internal disputes for on-air material. So, he would foster and encourage arguments between staffers.
What a great oldie podcast/show. Sam's hair is so bad good thing he shaved it. Cumia is more racist then I thought he was. WOW Jim is so skinny and Teft making a rare appearance.
Never understood Anthonys obsession with Bob Levy. Dude brings the show to a complete halt. More boring than listening to Opie. Has never said anything remotely funny. 1:49:30 that hack finally hangs up.
It's from when he got charged over his toxic relationship with Danni Brand (or Danni Golightly), daughter of comedy club owner Vinny Brand. He bit her on the hand, allegedly when she was attacking him, and got a domestic battery case. They pled it down to a misdemeanor charge, and he got a fine, and court ordered alcohol rehab, which meant he was banned for owning firearms until his sobriety order had expired.
@@JonJobOnzo Wrong, the case was tried in the US, and in the American legal parlance, 'pled' is the correct usage for official matters of the court system. 'Pleaded' is used for intimate, personal matters. Eg.- He pled not guilty to spousal abuse. He pleaded with his wife to stop provoking him.
The fact they ignore Sam's lack of substance isnt shocking. They carried Opie for years. They'll have no problem carrying Sam now. Sam knows it, and knows all he has to do is not be a dick like Opie and he's secure there being mediocre forever.
comments like this are baffling to me. sam is a good conversationalist and can be funny, so that already puts him ahead of the guy he replaced jim, anthony, colin etc all seem to like sam, too and arent just tolerating him for the sake of the show
