I think Arsenal planned for Saka to play against Tsimikas not Gomez. He took on his man far more than usual, not winning many of his duels after Gomez came on
Great video. However Liverpool were not forced long. It was a strategy to bait Arsenal into a press. The trigger for the long switches to Salah or Diaz was Szobo/Salah drawing Zinchenko into midfield creating space in behind. Once there's a sniff of space the switch happens leaving Zin 1v1 vs Salah. Created the goal and some good moments too. Just feel it would have been deadlier if Nunez started ahead of Gakpo. Both defences were top though
Great improvement of Liverpool compared to same time last season(wk 18). Arsenal was 1st with 45 points, 4 ahead of Man City. Liverpool was 7th with about 26 points. Arsenal goal difference was 28, Liverpool 16. Looking at Arsenal's 2nd half performance yesterday, I think Arteta will be a very worried man,...with Klopp, Pep & Unai all breathing down his neck..😂
can someone answer this please , how do players change tactics mid game when the opponent change the attck or build up , does the mangers tell them or do the players know where the danger become ?
Liverpool under Klopp practised set pieces during some preseason games that is closed doors.....and during training.....Klopp do not allow the Liverpool media crew to film or upload set pieces.....simple training is OK to upload....... You can see when certain players signal with their left or rights......I know from interviews.......the players would let slip that who they look out before making the run. It is obvious that certain players are the lead to kick start the press.
@@domagojhrgovic7419 he was pivotal for us at city and he helped us alot. I would say he is good .....but struggles abit because I have seen him play for us for years
Martinelli was the worst player on the pitch, losing the ball countless times and not even working hard to track back when Zinchenko was 1v1 vs Salah and yet you want to take off Havertz who was actually trying to defend.
Yes, wed have lost, martinelli was arsenal's worst player today and havertz, one of our better players, but i think the agenda has to push through right?
Our midfield would've totally collapsed. The bad sub was Jesus for Nketiah, should've taken out Saka as he lost all his battles with Gomez. As the guy in the video said, Gomez being right footed kinda disadvantaged Saka. Jesus would've cooked that man.
This guy is quick to praise managers like Guardiola who’s success were bought. Why has he still not covered how Liverpool won against Newcastle after getting a red card which was too harsh??
One penalty not given but even greater miss was by Trent hitting the post. But nevertheless great game to watch. Nothing between the two teams in this match. All in all a fair draw. Both the teams have not played like champions but still are in 1 & 2. So go on best of luck & this year so far an absolute treat to watch.
@@Chip_in It's the miss hit to the post which was really upsetting but as a whole neither of the teams wanted to lose this game as the stakes are getting higher & higher. We could see the top 5 apart from aston villa & may be spurs are playing within themselves.
You only showed one half of the game . show us the 2nd half of it where Liverpool's midfield overran Arsenals with Endo Jones and Szobo pressing high up resulting to Arsenal losing possession numerous times. Arsenal created nothing in the 2nd half . Zero. Liverpool's frontline has been missing chances or fluffing their lines and for me the biggest dropoff was Diaz who wasn't the same since his injury. Nunez with his pace offered more on the left and he should have started instead.. The substitution getting Jones off was weird when Szobo was getting worse ( ran too much and of steam) with his overall play as the games went on.
Other than a 10-15 minute period in the 2nd half where I agree Liverpool looked at their best by winning the ball high up the pitch, they still didn’t manage to create much. Their best chance came when Arsenal made a mistake from a resulting corner from which zinchenko actually slips (the pitch was very slippery) other than that it was quite comfortable especially from 60 minutes onwards, I would say arsenal had way more control on the game. To say they created 0 is delusional because they got into many dangerous positions but just lacked the killer touch in the end. On another day I think arsenal win this and trust me when Pool come to the emirates in a couple of weeks it will be a very different game. You will see how Arsenal will dominate them and from this showing I am way more confident in that.
@@khez5179 one clear penalty not given to liverpool and trent was inches close to a goal but hit the post. I'm satisfied with the results but liverpool was by far the better side.
Liverpool has been robbed twice. First by Spurs and then Arsenal. I will not be surprise if Liverpool cannot beat Chelsea because they are all London clubs
liverpool werent robbed, arsenal also had a pen shout for a shove on havertz in the back, but they got on with it. Arsenal tried to win at your home your own backyard, nobody robbed you and trent failed to score the easiest chance of the season, you have nobody to blame but yourselves it was not 1 sided and it couldve gone either way
Arsenal played for a draw and they got it. Liverpool are the most disappointed of the two with this result. If Diaz and Gakpo were non existent and Liverpool used their chances well(that TAA sitter still haunts me) we would have won the match but still happy with the performance
Arsenal played for a draw lol😢 We had 8 shots to one at one point. It see sawed but Arsenal actually looking for winner after weathering early second half storm. If Kanate didn't have such a good game and Martinelli a shocker after decent start think Arsenal win that. But draw fair. Arsenal need to order some shooting boots from Santa though
Arsenal completely dominated Liverpool! Klopp was absolutely panicking all week with those Anfield atmosphere comments! If Arsenal got out of 2nd gear Liverpool would’ve been annihilated!
What game were you watching ? They had a fast ten minutes then didn't have a decent shot all game. They were extremely lucky to get a draw. Especially with the clear handball.
@@tedmagnum6968 Scouse dirty tricks sabotaged the pitch by flooding it with water knowing Arsenal would wear wrong studs. And now you want a penalty for an Odegaard slip due to your own sabotage. 🤣🤣

@@all_bee Am talking in general, over-all improvement,..not just one game. In one sometimes players even miss to score into an empty net. With the £105 million Declan Rice, Arsenal looks more solid, but in terms of vital stats(points & goal difference) you're worse off. Competition is stiffer this season,...very likely another bottling show from Arteta..😂‼️
