I don’t enjoy carrying my pistol on my waist due to hip issues and the thing drags my pants down no matter how small the firearm so shoulder holsters and sling bags tend to work better. This looks like a nice setup. Thanks for sharing!
So, you said its a Maxpedition...They have a pistol loop that goes in the back pocket (against the body) that has hook velcro to secure to the loop that is there. This pistol loop covers the trigger and secures the firearm in a position to be accessed quickly. You will not need a holster with this loop and I believe they have them with secondary loops to hold spare mags next to the pistol.
Glad someone else is making video’s about fanny packs, they are versatile and effective. I use one frequently when around town, holds just enough stuff and keeps me from “over” packing. Thank you and well done.
I have a love hate relationship with the Tacti-cool look. I like the idea of a Fanny pack as apposed to a backpack. One of the things I hate about carrying a sling bag/ Fanny pack. I don’t like things hanging off it or attached to the outside. I see people doing this and I wonder why they can’t fit all it in their pack? Are they concealed carrying? That makes me self conscious about what I carry… I live in a rather big city. So I don’t really need to carry all the wilderness survival stuff. Thanks for some ideas! Keep up the great work. 👍
NICE review. While I am not a fan of tactical or tac-ti-cool gear. fanny packs are very under-rated and useful. I have had and use one for over 30 years...since before they became a mainstream thing.
