Compare that to the Multi-Melta, that looks like it spits water. Adding the fact that the Tac doesn't have ANYTHING to close the gap other than a Shock slow.
I completely agree, the Tactical has no gap closing ability I have to depend on my teammates to push super close to the enemy just for a chance to take 1 target down because it can take a few shots unless the enemy is already low health.
Really feels like tac could benefit from some kind of scanning ability that you could use to ambush enemies around corners, or at least extra capacity for stun grenades. Oh
I mean a big reason for that is the fact that you could equip two primaries with the right perk, allowing you to cover it's short range with the stalker bolter. That can't be done in SM2 so I think it'd be fine for it to be powerful in it's optimal range, especially when the ttk is much lower in SM2 compared to the first game.
