the movement sounds needs to be reworked it sounds like he’s strapped down with cans of beans damn it’s really noticeable here. doesn’t sound like any footsteps over rubble at all. at the very least a game about stealth shouldn’t have you sounding like that it’s kinda annoying
Played this map today. I was prepared for trench cqb got my usas-12 loaded with shogun shells ready to for some fun combat. So I when I loaded in first I thought I chose wrong map then I realised I chose wrong spot and then I realised it’s night so I went in with 120 shogun shells left with 140.

Depends on your playstyle to be honest. I love close quarters fighting so I prefer the Occulus Carbine. I take Combat Knife over Chainsword because I like how much faster it is since I only melee when the target is already low or they are right up in my face. I take shock nades because even though they nerfed the hook, if you hook somebody (and you have full health) and toss a shock nade at their feet, you will win the 1v1, not that I recommend hooking enemies most of the time you still have to be very selective with who you hook.
Right now, its definitely the atmosphere and aesthetics of the game. The art and design is beautiful in a grimdark sense. The gameplay is super janky right now which is a given as the game is early access. I'm looking forward to the AI getting better so I can watch them fight each other more like the the insignificant human rat that I like to roleplay as.
I love ashen mesa eclipse, it's so eerily quiet, and when you're skulking around, your gunshots are deafening, even when suppressed, every shot fires feels like a scream heard across the map, ringing the dinner bell for a hundred biomechanical zombies

moselum at night aint shit, scorched at night has mothers and the grapplers. Sometimes together! But its also the only place I can reliably farm corpse tank.
The game looks WAY MUCH BETTER without hud and especially huge weird markers over the enemy's heads. I hope the will remove them completely because they pretty much ruin the gameplay. It would be completely different experience if you couldn't read enemy's mind like it's now.
