Really selling me on a squid team. Throw in a unit with Aquatic Resonance that flings fire magic for the water averse and you got a good squid boil going on. I'll probably build something like that before going into Pirate's Graveyard this run. Also random realization; I just recognized that the narration for the opening to this game is Simon Templeman, the VA for Kain from Legacy of Kain. That is wild, I can't believe it took me so long to make that connection, I'm usually great at picking out VAs. I guess I really must not have watched the opening that often.

i think this change was really necessary, Octopus felt like very hit or miss units, if the map has water they are great, if it doesn't then they were very mediocre, at least with this they can exert some pressure and helps them attack units that aren't one tile close to water tiles either. Now people can build a viable Lovecraftian themed team, lol.
