Actually plant doesn't die if u just eat fruits and other begitables instead of completely removing the plant from it's roots.

I became a vegetarian when I really looked at my plate and saw that I was eating the muscles, blood and flesh of a sentient being who valued his/her life as much as I valued my own.

I don't think we can eat raw animals. We can eat raw vegitables. We can cook that's why we can eat animals and stuff.
