8:08 here u said pot exits but its made out of clay. Like wise Brahman is the only one that exists but we think and experience this world as something other from god(brahman) and he(god) exists somewhere else. So pot exists but we fail to understand its nothing but clay
These specific Offerings and Visualisations are Part of Vajrayana (Esoteric / Tantric) Buddhism, they are not a usual Practice in other non-esoteric Buddhist Traditions. I think you can find them also in the japanese Shingon Schook of Buddhism, which is also a Vajrayana Tradition.
Dakini in Sanskrit, Khandro in Tibetan, literally means “sky dweller” or “sky dancer,” and is the most sacred aspect of the feminine principle in Tibetan Buddhism, embodying both humanity and divinity in feminine form.
This Guru Yoga, is a Part of Ngöndro, the 4 Preliminary Practices. It is practiced by all who pursue the Buddhist Tantra Path. I have uploaded a Video about Ngöndro on my Channel. There each step is explained.
The three Jewels is another term for: The Buddha, the Dharma (his Teachings) and the Sangha (the Monks). Thank you for reacting to this Bryan! Yes i fully agree, that tibetan Buddhism is different. It uses extensive, elaborate Methods in Rituals, Offerings, Meditation Methods, Teachings etc. When japanese Zen Buddhism is very minimalistic, dry and simple in Appearance, tibetan Buddhism is the complete Opposite, a vast elaborate baroque Universe of thousand armed Buddhas. The unique thing is tibetan Buddhism is heavily influenced by the Pre Buddhistic shamanistic indigenous Bon Religion, so it is very esoteric. Bryan, if you do react to Lama Tsem Rinpochr next time, please watch his Video "Dorje Shugden Oracle taking Trance in Kechara".
There is a video on Sadhguru where he explains that the solar system would have to go through some change in order for there to be another evolutionary progress after human life. Here's the video if you're interested, he goes more in depth with it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5o3oFKIknzg.html Now for the different realms, this is an interesting one so I'm just gonna share my understanding from what I've learned about Buddhism from different sources (don't quote me on it though lol!). Once you become a human, it's harder to go back to the lower realm like the animal realm; evolution is just constantly moving forward, in this regard. I'd say that a human's karma is limited to its human actions and capabilities, therefore it makes sense to face the effects of your karma in human birth. But I also have heard that unless you do something absolutely terrible in your human life, there is a possibility of going back to the animal realm, but that is considered to be rare. However, humans can still end up in the "hell" realm, like the hungry ghost realm, or the realm where it's just full of torment and suffering, where there exists limitations that can hold you back from attaining good karma along the way, therefore make it harder to progress towards enlightenment or have access to Dharmic practices. (These realms can also be taken metaphorically, where you create your own hell.) Animal realm is said to be one of them. It is said that it's better to not fall back into this realm, because you will suffer here even more than in human realm, being tormented by other different animals, losing your children or family to predators and even witnessing it happen in front of you, without being able to do anything about it. You're constantly living in fear and hoping to survive here, looking to find shelter and food, either as a prey or predator. You're either killing or being killed. Animals are also not always aware about their "wrong" behaviors (like eating your own child or playing with your food), because to them, they are just functioning within the lines of nature and don't have the concept of "good or bad." But to the universe and the law of cause and effect, consequences of actions still exist regardless if you're an animal or human, because that's the nature of samsara. "Good" and "bad" actually only exists when there is suffering involved, otherwise it doesn't; the universe is ultimately functioning on cause and effect. But even if we think it's just "nature doing its own thing," and the concept of cause and effect-- in this context, "good" or "bad" actions-- don't exist to some or most of the animals, does not mean they are "exempt" from karma, or cause and effects of their actions. It does not mean the mother of a baby does not feel the suffering from, say, her child getting eaten alive in front of her by some deadly predator. So yes, there is a karmic imprint even for an animal for whatever their actions may be, which passes down to their next birth. But anyway, the animal realm is generally considered unfavorable to be reborn in if you want to break out of samsara. In order for an animal to evolve into a human, they have to be able to show emotions like compassion or love, which can be very difficult to do when you're stuck in the animal kingdom, because you are mostly limited to your animalistic instincts, and to the "survival of the fittest" mindset. But it's definitely not impossible because animals do have emotions, and have the possibility to generate good or bad karma of their own. Domesticated pets like dogs and cats have more chances of becoming human in their next life as compared to, let's say, a tiger living in the wild, because they are more receptive and loving in nature and are not as predatory and animalistic as compared to a tiger in the wild. Basically, the more "human-like" an animal behaves (shows kindness and compassion), they generate good karma and this allows them to evolve towards human birth. Even if let's say, a tiger shows compassion and love like a domestic pet would, this would mean that they are also gradually moving towards it too. It might not happen in their next life, but it will happen at some point. Now talking about the higher realm (the one above human birth). From what I've heard, in the higher realm, or the realm of the "gods" it's basically a place that is full of pleasures and comfort. It is apparently very easy to indulge yourself in this realm and create attachments here, which hinder your progress towards enlightenment. It happens in human life too, but in the god realm, it is much more difficult to break out of it because the realm itself is free of suffering, therefore it is very easy to cling onto desires there. This is also considered to be an unfavorable place to be reborn in if you want to break out of samsara. And this is why human realm is considered to be the "middle ground" and more favorable in the process of enlightenment, because you aren't just limited to the realm of torment and suffering, living in animal nature, nor are you limited to the pleasures of the higher realms, but you are in the more neutral side, where there is a combination of it all, and you can see from all three of the perspectives and learn from it. You have access to eastern teachings here, (which is also apparently rare to come across in human life, let alone even understand it and practice it from what I've read), and you have the choice to work towards enlightenment in this life if you wish to. If you believe in samsara (I don't believe in it as I don't fully know it from experience, but I also don't disbelieve in it), karma is a little scarier than it sounds. We don't know how many lives we've lived, and what kind of person we were in those lifetimes, if we were good or bad, but what is important is that our current life matters, our present actions matter, and we can strive to become better in this life so we don't end up suffering in the next. To think our lives can repeat on for many lifetimes is quite scary to think about, in my opinion, even if I don't really know for sure what is going on in the universe in the cosmic scale, but it's still interesting to ponder over it. Well, this is a long response, and I don't know how much you know about this, but I thought I'd just share my own thoughts here! edit: grammar
yo! I like that you're studying the sastra.. study the five koshas, its same as buddha skandha with subtle differentes ;) .. and its very deep yet looks so simple, viveka chudamani.. discernment yes, abstraction no. and give something to your intuition to process... sankara's lila maybe? south indian and lankan tales are very nice.
Vaisudhaiva Kutumbaka- The whole world is my family, that means you treat every being as your family member and the world as your home, and with that in mind, you will eventually treat everything with care and respect, which will ultimately give you fullfillment, and eventually lead to truth- and realisation.
Chitakash. Chit = consciouness + Akash = Space/Ether. all pervading consciousness/energy/Brahman/Shunya(Zero) he is referring to which is our subtlest eternal nature. subtlest always remains. forms defroms dissolves and is temporary. the formless ocean of quantum field in modern science the source of all waves/particles?
clearly when you speak it feels like you are navigating through a puzzle but when sadhguru speaks it feels like not everything is a puzzle to be solved but an experience to be lived with hightend perception.
I became a vegetarian when I really looked at my plate and saw that I was eating the muscles, blood and flesh of a sentient being who valued his/her life as much as I valued my own.
32:43 weak Hindus in terms of fighting the Muslims and British. Gandhi or non violence did not give us independence violence did… Gandhi was a British stooge and the history about Indian independence is created to suit the British. British left India giving the keys in the hands of gandhi and his brown English men. They wrote fake history.
After reacting to this u must have realised why there's natraj statue at the CERN facility as their main objective is to find how energy manifest to become matter .
When Sadhguru said life energies getting feeble, he meant dying of old age ....which is very different From suddenly breaking the body and dying ...as in suicide.., accidents ,etc... In the former , the life energies do not take a long time to find the next womb, ..( as there are karmic stuff still intact ) If you wanna understand about Karma ..Read his book...in it ,he elaborately describes a lot of things . And Karma is not what most people think it is Now the later part ,the death process ,the life energies are still exuberant as it didn't leave the body naturally due to old age...then the life energies are still very intense and it takes a long time to recede... But once life energies go , they go by tendencies. Again, for this , read his book DEATH AN INSIDE STORY....if you wanna understand in depth.... These are just simple talks ...(Well ,not so simple 😅)...i mean short videos...where a very in depth process is being talked about...and one may misunderstanding him in many ways.. Mostly due to their own past knowledge about many many things..... In order to understand Sadhguru, one has to really really drop all that one has gathered, keep out one's smartness, pay focussed attention and see. Othwrwise , every sentence, every few mins , we see many reaction videos , completely going in a different way as compared fo what Sadhguru is saying... Yes , there is a big cultural difference and I don't blame them. But the main problem is that , most people think they already know a lot about this type of things and their own beliefs of those knowledge blocks them from understanding what Sadhguru says. Watching Sadhguru videos is one thing When you sit with him, you have to drop everything...I mean everything... If one cannot, there is no way , one will get to understand him or even have a glance of what he is showing... He is not talking book knowledge.. Not talking about intellectual stuff.. One may think ,one has understood him But just listen to him ,the same video, 2/3 years later.. The experience will be different... I see many reaction channels of Sadhguru completely taking it in somw other way when he is talking about simple basic things... Very focussed attention is needed.. Well, after going through it all, one may inquire...but while watching him, trying to understand him, if you start , comparing your own previous ideas, knowledge on what he is saying, it mainly gets twisted and misunderstood very easily.. So, while listening, one can listen so keenly...try to take in as much clearly as possible.. Then , after thoroughly going through it, one may self inquire and see if it is true or not. Again, brutal honesty with oneself is again needed here. Which is again a major problem for many people😂😂
The dream example. Now just apply it to our world where the god is dreaming and when one is enlightened he realize that he is the consciousness behind every person in the dream. It's like god is dreaming and every single person in that dream thinks he is that person but actually it's god who fogtor his true nature and thinks that the dream is real.
*Memories actually transferred, even it's scientifically possible. for example if my ancestors have lived with snakes that fearlessness about snakes may become genetical and may get transmitted to me through genes indirectly transmitting me that memory which I can access somehow and figure out that maybe my past life used to live with snakes. I am not sure about it but it seems possible because of dominant and recessive genes.*
Karma(actions which an individual had done) will travel to next life. So according to the actions performed results are gained in next life or upcoming
*Swami Vivekananda ji we know is suffering but swami ji from his point of view is not suffering because he knows he can't suffer and only his body and mind is suffering. U can't end pain and suffering of mind and body. U can only understand it as natural phenomenon to protect urself from distruction that's why we feel pain. so enlightened person is beyond suffering not in the sense that his body won't experience pain, it's just that the mind is peaceful and calm even if his body is going through pain because the knowledge of self creates mind state which is unaffected by pain and emotional losses or hurt.*
