Well its cuz like, we spent time with an NPC we have never met, and we were forced to feel bad for him in just like a span of 5 - 6 minutes with him While for episode 3, we spend time with 2 pre established characters that we already have a connection with, which makes it feel so much more satisfying

real, hes my favourite but i felt like he got a little too much screen time on the first 2 episodes despite not being the main focus

exactly, I like his character too but I don't want the creator to do too much fan service and put him too far ahead of the others because of his popularity, instead of developing everyone's personalities more equitably. Fortunately that doesn't seem to be the case, I found that Kinger wasn't very interesting and then this rpisode gave me a better image of him.

To be fair, this adventure is in a horror setting and Caine never mentioned if there were any good ghosts, Jax’s line of logic here was reasonable.

Considering how Caine Is, I get why Jax just surpassed common sense and directly made what he said.

Well it's not like he has Full control over the game like Caine does or anything of the sort, and since he did say "I want to keep the mystery alive", even if he could break free he doesn't want to reveal How he could to the others, I mean it's one thing to steal a key from Ragatha in Ep.2, but another to avoid glitching out by getting touched by an abstraction in Ep.1, if he can't find a gap in the coding he can't hack it, any experienced gamer knows that the wrong cheat code could cause the whole game to crash, and if you're trapped inside a game, you Definitely want to avoid doing That.
