Sorry, but Froome won the Tour, Vuelta and then the Giro - not in the same calendar year…then followed it up with 3rd in the Tour to Thomas. Pogacar is a different type of rider but he has a long way to go…

Wow, this channel is such a Pogi pleaser. "Waiting for a few more yellow jerserys" - no not as long as Vingegaard is here ;) "Time for a challenge" - he seemed pretty challenged the last Tours ;) There was no mention of him being beaten hard by Vingegaard the last two years. We all know the real reason why he goes to the Giro. It's because UAE knows that he can't win the Tour, so they settle for the next best thing. Just like Contador & Froome started the Giro when it was unknown if they would get a doping suspension before the Tour.

Winning the Tour de France is the highest aspiration of every cyclist, the consacration to become a CHAMPION. The Tour since 1903, is absolutely, the most important cycling race in the world for history than tradition. The Giro d'Italia, although in recent years it has lost its appeal in favor of the highly respected Vuelta, has a tradition that started in 1909 and is considered the second most important race on the calendar. It has not the prestige of the Tour. But the only way to become a LEGEND is winning both in the same year. The STRONGEST of all the time (so GODDET over MERCKX) accomplished the feat 3 times, while the GREATEST of all the time (so GODDET over COPPI) 2 times (but he was the first one). After they, only Anquetil, Hinault, Roche, Indurain and Pantani could did it and recently the double it is considered almost impossible. Just Froome (4 Tour!!) was so close but after winning a legendary stage at the Giro he failed at the following Tour. He'd have deserved it. That means that the Legend is joined not only with the Tour but even with the Giro. I think Pogacar can do it more than once, and his victory at the 2024 Tour, will also drag Vingegaard to the Giro that will recover the prestige he had until the arrival of the poor Moser. Sorry, but Cycling is not only the Tour. It would be very interesting if Pogacar would try winning all the 3 Tours. If he would win this challenge he can really become the GOAT, even if it's impossible comparing the time of Coppi and Merckx with this time...... Go Pogi, please..... :))))

This is just an announcement to square his ego with the fact he can’t beat Vingegaard in the tdf. Basically he’s looking elsewhere for GT wins. If he wins the giro he’ll swerve the tdf and go for the Vuelta.

Vingegaard would have got the TDF and Vuelta double if he hadn't gifted the win to his domestique.

It hard to support Pogacar. You have to love him, but the team ownership and management are despicable politically inhumane tyrants and cycling/doping cheats, respectively.

Absolutely no chance of this happening. The Giro-Tour double cannot be done in this day and age. Far too much competition in both GTs, and the speed and intensity with which the modern peloton rides makes it impossible to recover in ‘non-GC’ days. Pogacar cannot be that guy who rides for self-preservation - he’s an entertainer.
