today during the flexibility training class, teachers are helping my classmates and me to do the passive stretching training for flexibility, this is important if you want to dance more elegantly. the teacher asked me to lay on the mats, take a deep breath and relax, then they grab my legs and slowly push my legs to 180 degrees, this is a very effective way to get the middle split despite it is a little painful. so we have been told to shout it out when we feel the pain. because shouting can help we inhale and exhale, which can relax our tighten muscle, can reduce the pain, can let us stick to the end, and gain flexibility.
this is ordinary flexibility stretching training for the professional dancer.

Please don't imitate the training in this video by yourself. The students in the video are the professional that have been studying for more than years and teaching under professional supervisor, so they dare to train students like this.
The students in the video are challenging to a higher level of flexibility, so the training of the teachers is more strict. But this kind of training is harmless because the students have already warmed up before the training, the bones and muscles have been totally relaxed, after the training, the students will get the corresponding auxiliary massage to eliminate the muscle pain.
Everyone has limited ability to withstand the pain, so you can see some of the students shouting in the video, and some students are not. but This is good in flexibility training, If it is not painful, that means students have not broken his or her own limit, then he or she will not make progress, and such pain is controllable. also shouting helping them inhale and exhale, relax the tighten muscle, relieve the pain, then they can hold in that position for enough time, that is the goal when doing the flexibility stretching.
the students in this video are all adults, they pay tuition to learn, so they knew what they need to go through, and they recognize the teaching method.

I used to train my oversplits by myself without huge pain, huge pain is bad. I started on textbooks and then moved on to putting my leg on a bed.

@@astra2154 pretty much lmao i would use my schoolbooks and start stacking them. I swear it was like my legs got more flexible every single day. I would never let people stretch me like in this video because if they hurt you, you cant stretch for many months and your legs could never be the same.

@@cshuffler232 yes i had like a 230 degree oversplit in a few months by not training lmao. I have never screamed while stretching and had such a deep oversplit. I never dance anymore though because I lost interest in the job as a dancer.

When i was 4 years old i was loving gymnastics it was my fav sport i saw alot of vids about it year by year i kearbed some gymnastics so i wss training by my self i didnt need any trainer my sissy was helpung ne the spilt was hard ti learn si i was getting down every day and i know it y better ti train by yourself and ty srry fir may bad English but i type si hard and it doesn't my language

Not really I've been taking taekwando classes. This isn't video isn't even closely related to practice. The practice are so fun especially the strengthening practices. The hard one are the warm ups. But you will manage you will be sore for a couple if days but honestly worth it

I did taekwondo in 2018 before quitting the team. I was a master in splits I had perfect flexibility back in the day. But now in 2021 I have lost my flexibility and my splits but I am still able to do kicks. I am doing extensive stretching and training to get my splits back again.

I am doing Taek-won-do since I was 7 years old. The first time I had a split training I was in tears and then I couldn't walk without being in pain for two days. Today whenever I do a training like that I'm not in pain anymore because now I am totally used in this kind of pain and I don't even feel it, but at the beginning split training used to be my nightmare 😢

Nope he was part of the ballet also they have different practice their legs will raised up to the pole if that's the name for minutes or hours, ballet dancers are flexible and graceful movements that's why Jimin has that dance and gracefully dance because he was part of the ballet dance in his childhood to teenage hood.

Yes... I once entered a Gymnastics gym.. where they stretch out their bodies and stuff... And my brother had his teammate who also had a brother and they did this to him same as the video... It really was painful to look at but the results we're great.

I can understand the pain. When I started rhythmic gymnastics, they had us go to a wall and do a 270 oversplit there with no experience for a minute. I was literally bawling my eyes out

Many people in the comments say getting flexible was painful. I felt little pain since I didn't set a goal on when to get my splits. I didnt over work myself.

I do taekwondo and now we dont do that much stretching but we do warm up. But in the beginning my red belt classmate pushed me while i stretched and helped me and woah it hurt sooo much 😭 . And the kicks are 😬 . We learn taekwondo for free . My school teaches taekwondo to its students for free 😄
