It's always a joy to watch nct cbs they're always so out of the box and their creativity never runs out . esp taeyong as hes such a unique individual so i knew what to expect since the album was announced that the title track especially is gonna sound insane and very experimental since we know his sound and musical preferences hes literally the most neo person out there and i love it lol

I see this song being a grower, its addicting and catchy. Taeyong always creates songs outsides the box. You should definitely check out his mini album the songs are a completely different vibe to the title, I feel like you would like his bsides.

TAEYONG is not your usual Kpop idol. He's much more than that. He's a true artist who pushes the creative boundaries. Not the singing, rapping, dancing muppets we are used to. No matter how perfected their skills are after years of intense training. There is a difference between artistry and skills. You've got be born with the gift, the other you can learn, teach, buy and sell.

this song is so catchy, I'm addicted to TY rapping voice 💚 each track of the album has its own essence and story, it's so my tastes, I LOVE this album so much already, this is so Taeyong

NCT confusing the heck out of listeners and musicians at first listen, even their own fans are taken aback every comeback, but that's actually the point of the neo concept you'll eventually get addicted and you won't believe how it happens.

This song is also not for me - but I couldn’t stop grinning throughout the entire MV. I thank Taeyong for making me squint, question and laugh. The bsides of this mini are the songs for me. They’re emotional and personal. Listening to each track, one after another, felt like a journey.

Its giving TOP and GD from Bigbang, like this is definitely what they would release if they're still active 😂 its fun, hip hop, and creative 🙌

Please listen to the whole album not just the mv. Taeyong himself mentioned that this song is a title song for the sake of the performance. It is a common thing in Kpop. But when you explore his whole album, you will see other elements of Taeyong. Each song has different vibe. Taeyong is that kind of versatile artist.

Personally i think you get kinda lost in the song when watching it with the MV, coz so much is happening, but listening to the song alone definitely lets you hear how good it really is! The MV is cool ofc, its very Taeyong, the whole album is. Overall it was done well

Shalala is such a neo song its so addicting and it definitely grows on you it definitely explains taeyongs style well but I recommend that you listen to some of the other tracks

I mean I get you, I watched it the first time at 7 am but then I was able just to listen the song along and dang dude it really grows on you! The mv might make it a little too much to process but just wait, you'll be jamming to shalala soon!

So quick explanation! Shalala itself meant that everyone has their own "shalala" or shining moment. In this mv, you can see how hacker ty purposely messed up the timeline (because "god" was being lazy as you can see he's eating fast food etc) so yetti, mr. knight, and gameboy sent to different universe. But after some time, they learned to adapt just like how yetti won the bowling, mr knight became employee of the month, while gameboy able to play with the yettis. They have their own shining moment 😄

highly recommend listening to the whole album!!! the other songs are all written by taeyong and are super personal to him and he sings a lot more on them. this was the only track not totally written by him! like ruby and gwando are sooooo amazing. personally i loved shalala bc its just very taeyong and it is exactly his vibe but i totally get how people might not like it a whole lot lmao

It's currently 4 am in the morning and my braincells be going w got the bounce bow wow wow bounce let's go. LAY LOW LAY LOW BABY KEEP IT LOWKEY It's an addicting song especially after listening to it after a couple of times. I was also confused at first but this is Taeyong so everything he does is unique and his own style, I appreciate the different sound not something we hear often.

So essentially God is the controller of time, right? And time is is controlled through those computers. And Taeyong is a background hacker. His whole goal essentially went and mixed up time itself just because he wanted to and felt like it. So he put different people/things from different places into worlds they're not supposed to be in. God couldn't do anything about it, so he just deleted the world completely. The song is better without the MV to me to, it was the MV that threw me off the first listen. I'd say listen to it again without the video, and listen to the rest of the album I love it 😁😁😁😁😁

It MAY just not be something you end up liking... and that's ok. Not every song is everyone's favorite. BUT! I will say the album has a lot of variety on it and none of the other songs are quite as experimental sounding as this one - this song also feels different when you listen to it without the MV as well. I definitely think you would appreciate a lot of the album as a whole, even if you don't end up coming around on this particular song, the album is really a work of art IMO.

Try the b-sides; they give a different flavor if you don’t like the taste of this. Also, just to explain the MV-Taeyong was playing four different roles. He played a hacker who changed the timeline by transporting a medieval knight to the 80’s, a game boy to the ice age, and a yeti to the present. I can see how this would be overwhelming at first, but I think it’s super creative and fun! Anyway, I really hope you’ll check out the rest of the album too. Thanks for your honest opinion!

I really hate when these reactors just get lost in the mv and forget to analyze the song behind . Like for nct songs its obvious to expect something that is literally different from these regular kpop songs. You have to give atleast 2 listens to understand the mv or song in particular but calling it weird or bad is just so unsatisfying and disrespectful like this feels like unfinished business. Still glad tho there are people out there who gets their songs. They aren't just neo for nothing

Yes, the MV is for brilliant minds. There are 4 Taeyongs: The Yetti, Mr. Knight, the game-addict, and the hacker. They are all part of a connected web of worlds which is called a metaverse. That God controlled them until yhe hacker Ty who seems not part of the metaverse entered to it. Its a long story so if you have a simple mind you wont decipher it 😂 Good luck!
