Please Subscribe! In this video, we'll check out this quarts option from Tag Heuer's Formula 1 collection, which despite some flaws offers a really good value. Ref #WAZ1112.BA0875 Thank you for watching! Let's Talk Watches.
Excellent watch. So versatile, clean, simple, and built well. It’s a quartz BUT you can tell by the heft that it’s built well. I handled a Black Bay 36 recently and it doesn’t even come close to heft of this watch. It’s 2,000 more. I own the blue dial variant. This newer variant has a milled clasp than this older model.
Actual quartz models now have a decent solid clasp, but here in Mexico the retail is huge, about 2000 to 2500 USD, rather buy the small seconds caliber 6 F1, it’s in the same range and has a way better movement than even the entry Carreras and Aquaracers and a bracelet with screw adjustments.
Too thick and expensive for quartz. If this was 2mm thinner and 1/2 the price I would be a buyer. Tag Huer is no better than Longines. I got a Longines Hydroconquest 39mm quartz (only 10mm thick) for $700 new. For less than this Tag, I can get the Longines Conquest VHP which has a much nicer movement, higher accuracy, etc.
