So sorry to hear your journal got lost in the mail. I can only imagine the hours and hours and love that went into that project. My heart did a leap when I saw you posted a video. Many thanks for this video! Inspiring to the max. You also made me buy a couple of kits from Tracie Fox - they are so nice and useful :-) I've bought a few from her before, so she's not new to me. Hope you get the things you asked for at the end of this video. What I saw (at 52.40 minutes in) was that when you cut with a scalpel and used the Tim Holtz ruler... If you cut towards the other side where there is a metal line, it reduces the risk of cutting into the ruler. You problably already know that :-)

FOUND the black string you liked! It can be one of two products. If it’s synthetic then it’s an Avril product called Hibana yarn. If it’s a natural fabric then it is Habu Textiles Cotton Linen Paper Yarn. Both are Japanese products. Hope you can find a supplier in America, not so easy in UK, I found it on Etsy but in 2-5m ‘sample lengths. Can be bought in a selection of colours. I bit the bullet and bought the Habu product from Australia, 160m in two colours, even with shipping it works out way way cheaper!

I want you to know that you've got a new subscriber/admirer! Even before you said it in one of your videos, I knew you were a teacher. I also taught 5th grade and then became an elementary music teacher and taught all the grades. I retired in 2005 and took up paper crafting. I welcome the inspiration you bring to my work.

Cori, you teach the way I think. Very concise and definitive. Thankyou for sharing your technique for making tags. I have a ton of them and love to see new ideas on how to use them. Sorry life has been throwing you lemons. My brother had been a substitute teacher but won't go back because of the fear of getting sick. We both have Crohn's disease. He always ended up being upset about the lack of plans for the substitute and I would have to listen to him!! Teachers do so much work outside of school hours and most people don't have a clue. Take care. I look forward to your next video when you have the time to film.

Oh man Cori, I can't believe what they did to you at school! So much money and time!!! You're a champ. Congratulations on your new puppy love!!! Our fur babies make everything better. Our bichon was 17 and we had to put her down in July because of Cushings Disease. We are looking actively for a rescue bichon. Love your tags. It was so good to see you again!!!

So excited to see you had posted a new video, loved it! My daughter is a teacher and she gets so frustrated with administration and how they are always changing things. Change is good but when they start the year off one way and then change things a month or two into the year that is a whole lot of work for the teachers. Congrats on the new fur baby❤🥰

Regarding the black cord, I use a black crochet cotton. The cottons come in a variety of thickness so am sure you will find one that you prefer to use. Thanks for this tutorial!! 😊

I am so glad you are back! I have looked for you often and wondered what happened. Great video on the tags. Rotten school to do that to you! I am sorry about your dogs. But I have a friend who lost two dogs and a cat all this year. She rescued an Aussie. She is very happy now. I know when you are friends with 4 legged critters, they leave huge holes in your heart when they go. Having a young energetic companion will keep you hopping. Again, I am glad you are back. Oh the straw paper I got was from Roxy Creations on Etsy. Yep all the way from Italy.
