I would love it if you talked about youth and archery getting them into it and setting them up. I have a 10 year old daughter who is shooting high level archery. She might have the most pimped out bear royal but what’s next? Bowtech 36 SD. There has been a lot of growing pains I know more about bows then most pro shops in my area because of always adjusting and tuning. Also long draw conversion lurches as you call us struggle with bows and arrow selection. Target bows are tough. How is Gillingham going to shoot a Title or is he going to be shooting an Atlas like I am. Look forward to this every Monday congrats on the 5k

Speaking to the 3 vs 2 blade debate, there's a reason why they made triangular shaped bayonets. If you look at it medical a triangular hole is harder to close up.

Hey MFJJ, off topic from this video but I am hoping you can answer a question for me or someone else here. I have a VTM 31 and I have been having tuning issues with it so I got it shimmed with the black shims. I’ve been to 3 different archery shops and finally after having it shimmed, I’m shooting bullet holes through paper. With that said, even with the shims, my arrow sits to the left of my stabilizer and if you look from the top down, you can see the arrow points pretty far left. I wish I could include photos. Is this normal for hoyts? Also because of how it points left, my Black Gold sight has to be pretty far to the left to get my windage right.

I don’t understand the science of it but I’ve had wounds from 2 blade mechanicals that looked like they come from a battle axe ! And I think people shoot mechanicals because of flight not cut

The rule of thumb is to go down hill when lost and I can completely agree with that. But I think it is worth mentioning that in the management areas in the south often times the best option is to go up hill until you find a road. But the same down hill rule of thumb can work here but you may find yourself walking for half a day before you find a bridge or a homestead. It is always wise to do a brief map study before entering the woods to make a plan if you get turned around such as head North if you parked on a road that spans East to West…

I really like these podcasts, because the experience and expertise that Josh brings to the table coupled with his honest and open opinion on everything, including his own products is what this industry needs he is a leader in the Archery community and I value his opinion. I also enjoy what Tim brings to the table. His curiosity his analytical mind gives a great counter to Josh’s energy. Tim’s experience as a golf instructor can be seen in the way he chooses to lead the conversation as well as the questions he picks. Both individuals speak clearly and are easy to understand. This is one of my favorite podcasts. Keep it up guys.

I'm glad you guys stayed on being addicted to nicotine for a little bit because it is by far one of the hardest things that I've ever quit and then sadly I started back up with cigarettes but now I don't like cigarettes but I've grown to like vapes and they're probably way worse for me so I'm been trying to quit that and it's a hell of a hard thing to do. Hell of a hard thing

Dude lost my dad in 2020 before hunting season and that whole week besides the funeral I was out fishing on the lake balling my eyes out and thought I was good after that until I shot a doe a month later and balled again because he was always the first call. And trying to plan an elk hunt for next year to go and whether I connect with an elk or not going to spread some of his ashes on the mountain because we always talked about doing it and then I became an idiot out of school and only had a couple years with him after getting my life back on track
