although both are quality items, I really don't see a difference between mini or the regular flash. I've had both go off within inches of my feet and neither cause any real disruption of the senses. I'm hoping they put a little more flash and bang in there in the future.
Tell me about the belt? I used a Spec Ops Paintball drop leg holster for years and really liked it, but it's a little worn and I was thinking about replacing it. (I use a Tiberius 8.1 for paintball.)
The Ronin Task Force Belt is super solid imo. Had it for years now and it's just as solid as it was on day 1. Expensive belt, worth all the money and supports/distributes weight well thanks to a rigid design
Same as the stock question....I put in a "Notify Me When Availble" so hopefully they'll restock soon. Evike has been pretty good about their stock and frequent restocks, but does anyone know of any other CONUS retailer that stocks the mini??
The Mini is only available to specific customers, there is a vetting process for all buyers, as the Mini is only designed for LEO/Military and not the consumer market. Currently all TAG Pyro products(ones that go "BOOM") are delayed several months due to the Russian Ammo Ban that took effect 9/7/2021 from the Biden Administration. Expected delay is 4-6+ months to get that sorted out, this applies to all TAG Pyro products coming into the USA.
You cannot manufacture a self contained charge like the products have unfortunately. If the US Laws allowed for making them with ease, it would be nice to see these made in the States at a reasonable price.
No update on product availability at this time. I will post an update as we find out more as dealers, but unfortunately the times don't make getting products into the country. Smokes are still available, just sold the last of the old stock and have to order more. We still have access to some products, but anything that goes "boom" is not obtainable at this time.
I've done extensive testing of the FBG-6 and FBG-6 Mini, both have pieces that fly off. Nothing that safety glasses won't keep your eyes safe from. I have been hit in the legs mostly if/when pieces do hit, and it's barely even noticeable since it's light and can't carry energy very well.
Unfortunately that's how America is though. Over regulation and barring products from ever touching the general public. It's sad and unfortunate, that's all I'll say.
This video was done far before they developed the P-TOP. I do not agree with their stance on how to hold the device, but yes, that is what they claim is proper. If you hold the spoon with your fingers, the pin is on the wrong side of the device...seems odd
Expensive to some, very affordable to others. All in how you look at it, the TAG-18 has been redesigned and has been made more reliable since this video. In general I have had very few problems with their products, less than 5 failures in 1000 and counting.
I had a box of those smoke grenades and 4 of them didn’t go off still got them now the cap fired off but the fuse didn’t ignite thinking of just lighting them with an electric match and radio detonator
Quick question that I hope I can get an answer for. When will the Tag 67s be back in stock? I know that there is some type of import issue going on with all their products. Will they be back soon or will they never come in the US again at all?
To be honest, we were hoping for them to be available by now. As of today I still have yet to hear word on when to expect them. High hopes that it will be before spring!
They are made in Russia and Latvia. No exact date on restock - when one becomes available a video will be thrown up and pre-orders will open. Email Stock Notifications WILL go out for anyone on stock requests on the website. Hoping to get them in before summer, however I don't know anything as of yet on Latvian facilities production levels. Prices are also expected to increase, as everything has under this current administration - cost is unknown, prices will be adjusted before pre-orders go live.
That is not true. All TAG Pyro products require a P-TOP Certificate, free through TAGinn, & a Government Issued ID for all purchases. FBG-6 Mini aren't available to the public and do carry special purchasing requirements(they have not been available since 2021 and have no ETA back to the US Market as of May 2024).
DM me on Facebook, profile name is the same, profile pic is what looks like Antman on a Red Super Sport Bike. Short answer to your question is yes and no. Easier to explain in a DM
Normally TAG Products are constantly stocked. Unfortunately the Russian Ammo Ban has stopped the importation of TAG Pyro products for at least 4-6+ months until we get clarity on if the product falls under the ban.
If an airsoft player is in game and an fbg-6 is blindly lobbed and lands in an opponent's lap while behind cover, would that be safe? Can you do a live demo of that to show you stand behind what you're selling. I'd like to be sure before making a purchase that I wont harm an opponent on the field. Either you sitting with one in your lap, or stading with one taped to your pelvic area. Thank you for your time. God bless 🙌🏻 🙏.
You can simply opt-out of purchasing. Appreciate your interest and overall unrealistic concern. I'm not going to test for something as silly as that :) Refer to TAG's product demonstration if you are that invested in the safety of their product
You lost any credibility when you stated "blindly lobbed" as that's the exact point of banging any room before entering. Double bang and enter. The entire premise is that since the room is an unknown, aka you're going in blind, you bang it to disorient and confuse anyone in that room. Felt the need to explain that
I got 4 of the FBG-6s and one of them was a dud too. Unreliable junk, not just a "test batch". I can't believe you're marketing something with this crappy QC to law enforcement.
You tested 4, that's a small test batch and not even an entire box. They could've been old, stored wrong, I don't know. How you got only 4 is my question. You had 3/4 work and you're upset. Sorry, but that's not a rational response.
You didn't get them from me, and I clearly showed and was honest about my personal experiences with a product. I'll market based on my personal and vast majority of customers/user experiences. People wouldn't want them if they were so bad my friend. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion 🤷♂️✍️
@@BrandonMohn I split an order with some friends. Hazmat shipping is expensive. I have pictures of the "FBG-6" label on them so it wasn't another brand. Can't verify if it was bought from you or not, I didn't place the order. (Might be able to get him to look it up?) You're correct about my sample size. Out of the 4 I had, one failed. Out of the 3 I watched you demonstrate, one failed. Another RU-vid video I watched before ordering any also had a dud that I assumed was "one in a million". I formed my opinion out of the two videos I've seen and my personal experience demonstrating a 25-30% failure rate. I go through 1000 round cases of 9mm and 5.56 without a single hiccup. One bad round out of 1,000 would be 0.1% and I don't even get that. Maybe I'm just lucky. You need content ideas? Set off 100 of them in one take to prove reliability.
You've clearly never dabbled in the world of pyrotechnics. This isn't ammo, don't compare it to ammo. 9mm better be consistent, these products are far more consistent than the far more expensive IWI. You watched me test several grenades, I have videos on my channel using them for years. The only dud in the video is a Pre-Launch TAG-18 Smoke. Quit acting like a clown and basing your opinion and attacking my sales when you clearly have no education in the topic. Ammunition isn't explosives. Anyone that knows anything about those 2 things knows pyro is less reliable and less stable than Ammunition. I guarantee that you'd feel safe dropping a box of 9mm off a table. How about a mortar shell....oh wait they aren't at all the same. FBG-6 aren't FBG-6 Mini, so you don't even know what I'm marketing to say the least. I don't market the FBG-6 to military/leo, I market the Mini.
You can't even afford to buy 100 of them 😂😂😂 Believe me I have had well over 100(lol weak number) of their products in any nade and the failures I've seen only happened with 2/6 smokes in my test batch. I've had a few duds on 40mm smokes and that was it. You literally have no argument or factual based opinion. 3/4 Nades < 3+ Years Using TAG 1000+ Products Used with less than 10 Duds ✍️✍️✍️
