Thank you so much 😍 We love exploring Abruzzo and sharing our experiences and to receive such positive and lovely feedback makes it really worthwhile sharing it on RU-vid! 😘
John Gabriel.Wishing you all the best for another outstanding video and hope that you are feeling better.lt seems that many towns in Abruzzo are being rstored which adds to their charm. Can you please tell me if the Pescara Airport has been named after DAscannio who is from my home town.Loved your video on Popoli and in fact all your videos of Abruzzo should be catalogued in some way like a museum etc. to preserve them for their great achievement and promoting this once overlooked regoin.Grazie Mille.
Ciao John. Lovely to hear from you again and thanks for your continued support. So glad you liked it. As far as we are aware the Pescara Airport is called Pasquale Liberi. Are you referring to Corradino D'Ascanio? The inventor of the Vespa and tail of the helicopter? He was born in Popoli where we live. 😊
We live here with 18 x pats. Retired and love it here we would have met you for coffee at Cafe Italia next to t piazza. Marco and Tizzianna wonderful people . And great coffee .
It really is a fantastic place and well worth a visit, we loved our day there. Thank you for your lovely comment, we are really pleased that you enjoyed our video 😍
Totally criminal, and they never found the people who did it either! So glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. 😍
I have become more and more appreciative of your video travels in Abruzzo. (Sorry to learn of your recent illness). I'm looking into purchasing a small house in Capestrano and once settled, will enjoy traveling throughout the region of L'Aquila immersing in the history, beauty, and cuisine. I think this region of Italy is so special. Which towns have you found most captivating?
Thank you for your lovely comment and glad you are enjoying our videos. Have you found a house in Capestrano? We loved it there by the way; a great location. From there you can easily explore all the four provinces of Abruzzo. It's really difficult to say which towns we found most captivating as each one captivated us in a different way. That's the beauty of Abruzzo as each place has its very own charms!
We will post as soon as we have a moment. We'd love to be exploring every day or even every week. At the moment we are so busy with our renovation projects check out @palazzosanbenedetto for more about one of them. With regard to tours we have limited tours this year due to our renovation commitment and these are fully booked already. We are doing a lot more pop up days or private tailored tours this year so get in touch and we can arrange something to fit in with your dates and interests!
We are coming to stay in July! finally!! We are in Sulmona for 6 days, then Pescara. Thanks for the extra information you provide for us. Very interesting and useful when working out which towns we want to visit.
I'm so glad that you find our info useful. There are so many places to visit and so much to do in Abruzzo so we have only provided a highlight of everything. Enjoy your stay in Sulmona - one of our favourite places! Great location too for getting around the region!
