Hey Boothill Kid, great detailed video! Definitely learned a lot from this specifically the seam sealing. Only camping I ever did was in the army with GP Large and Giants. Liners was a pain but worth it. Again thank you. GOD bless you and your household, GOD bless America!

I use spray only. Used to use the seal stick. Just doubt coat seams and it's fine

I will do an update ASAP, just quick info for you, we still love the tent, unfortunately due to COVID-19 we didnt get to camp like we wanted last year as most everything was shut down but we will get some more videos up this fall. And i don't think this tent available anymore unfortunately, if i can find it anywhere I'll link to it

Recently bought this tent on Amazon. I paid about $439. It’s now at $499. When we first thought of buying before seeing this video it was $379.

Spray spray seal and seal more... I hate wet anything... I use 6 cans on a normal 15x11 tent

Hello Boothill, we went ahead and bought the Tahoe Carson tent. We are a family of five with two dogs (12lbs and 15lbs). We just got the ten a couple of days ago. We will set it up soon to check it. QUESTIONS: 1? Do you recommend a specific seam sealant? 2? Do you prefer liquid application, brush on, or spray? Moving to North East Florida and will probably camp in Georgia at times. 3? How would you cool and heat the tent during extreme weather? 4? How would you best be able to cool this tent. We will be camping in Round Pond Recreation Area in the West Point NY in July. It will be hot. Any advice would be appreciated. (Camping with wife and kids is not like being in the field with GP Giants and Potbelly Stoves.) 🇺🇸retired 27yrs of service🇺🇸

Hey there, any brand of Seam sealer should be fine I used the brush on. To heat it Mr buddy heater and to cool it I used a homemade swamp cooler.

Just got mine a couple of days ago from Amazon. It’s up to $499 right now. I got it for $479. First saw it a couple of weeks ago for less than $380. Haven’t opened the bag yet but the picture matches the Tahoe Carson. Will set up this week to check it and seal it.

At the time I purchased it the tent was $275 USD, I believe it's closer to $315 USD now. The tent is (Tahoe Gear carson 14 person large family cabin tent) I haven't seen it on Amazon in a while and it's out of stock at Wal Mart but I did find it here www.discounttentsnova.com/product/tahoe-gear-carson-3-season-14-person-large-family-cabin-tent/ We like this tent allot, but I do recommend seam sealing the fly when you get it.
