As a personal thank you, I just subscribed! This video is very helpful in my decision making. Thank you again! PS. You have a beautiful family, God has definitely blessed you! 💞🌲🏕
Thank you great review I love the way the front porch has a floor built on the tent keeping The critters out to many tents I looked at just had the ground 👍
Thanks for watching. Yeah this is one thing that drew me to this tent. It holds a ton of people or a family very comfortably. It’s still holding up nicely!
@@GReviewz I did buy it based off your review. You did a great job highlighting the most important decision maker for me. I wanted the screen room to be floored and not just open grass. So it was quite helpful to see the entire inside and outside.
Thanks for watching. Here is one of my travel vids with the tent in it.. please give a thumbs up if you like it…ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-73ZObFCfu28.html
We bought this exact same tent and love it! Great review and if anyone is wondering how nice these are we've had ours for two years now without a single issue. No rips, tears or leaks and we live here in Florida where bad storms are almost a daily occurance.
Thanks for watching..we love our tent. It really is a great unit. The only problem we have ran into is campgrounds that have raised tent spot sometimes this tent hangs off because it is very big!!
@@frankiethefrog1752 I believe so because of how good they are about their warranty and the quality is really good. We've had ours going on three years now without a single issue on any piece we own.
We appreciate the sub. So far I used it once and it has more room than we needed which is always a plus. We have a large dog and the front screen area was great for him.
Lol thanks for watching and for the positive feedback! I try my best to take care of my grass. I focus on my back yard because that is the place my family plays and has fun in during the summer months.
Thanks for the great video. I am curious how it has gone finding campground with spaces large enough for this tent. Our maiden voyage is actually going to be to the beach at Lake Mcconaughy, so I am not worried about size that. However, I am question if we will ever be able to use it at a regular campsite.
That was a concern of ours as well. We have had some right sites but it has always worked.. watch this.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-73ZObFCfu28.html&feature=shareb
Did you ever do the more in-depth review video? I'm seriously considering this tent for my family and would be interested to see how everything worked out.
Thanks for watching everything worked out great with the tent. I e used it a couple times now and haven’t had a leak yet and yes we did get rained on...lol I did not do a more in depth video however I did do a small review of a campsite we visited using the tent...ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J9x6pYIlPtY.html
@@GReviewz, thanks for sharing! Turns out the tent has been out of stock everywhere recently, so I went with a different CORE tent (9 person cabin) and after 1 trip out, realized there weren't many hanging spots or loops to hang a gear line - does this one have anywhere to hang stuff other than the main hook in the back room? (I'm still looking at buying it when it comes back in)
Laura Tuttle I am sorry to burst your bubble. There isn’t a whole lot of tie down points in the top of the tent. There is a ton of little storage pockets though. I believe a lot of tent brands are doing this because people hang all sorts of heavy stuff from up top and rear the tent...
Thanks for watching. We got them off of Amazon. I haven’t been able to find the exact ones again. Go to Amazon and type kids air mattress and it should give you a list..
Thanks for watching and for the positive feedback. It’s a great family tent with a ton of space. Ive used it maybe 10 times since Ive gotten it. Still going strong. I always spray my rain flys on any tent Ive owned with kiwi water proofed just to give it some extra..
Hello, and thank you for the thorough and awesome review. Have you been in the tent during 90/high 90 temps during the day. If so, how is the inside temperature? Im loming at this tent and a Coleman darkroom that is supposed to be several degrees lower temp inside vs other tents. (Leaning toward this one though.)
I have camped in this tent in the summer in Nc and in fl. I do t feel this tent is any better or worse. It is a large volume tent and once all the screens are zipped open a lot of cross breeze can blow through. I have not tried a darkroom tent yet but I hear because of the darker material that is thicker it can be hotter as well. But again not sure.
Thanks for watching. I am not sure the thickness of the tarp but I did mention the 20’x30’ size. Aka way to big. My wife bought it and didnt measure the footprint of the tent. So we just double the tarp over for double the thickness. Do you have this core tent?
Hey! Amazing video/review! Extremely helpful. I'm planning to buy this on Amazon, however the biggest concern I have are those "Air Intakes" (6:35)... Can they zipper up? Or do they always remain open?
Thanks for watching and for the positive feedback. On my tent they can not be zipped up. Ive used this tent many times through bad weather etc and never had a problem with them. You don’t need to stake out the flap if you don’t want to.
Awesome. I wish you the best times with the tent. We still use ours and love it. Just keep in mind the large footprint. Make sure the campsites you stay at have a pad that will fit the tent.. it’s no joke..
Thanks for watching. This tent does cut down on some light. But it is not marketed as a black out tent. When you have the rain fly and windows zipped up it helps.
Thanks for the great video! Can you give me any info on the kid's mattresses you have? I need to find something for my two girls. Was thinking of getting one big mattress for them to share, but I like those two smaller ones you have.
Thanks for watching. They really are not that bad. They don’t take up a whole lot of room. I’m going to include the amazon link here: Sleepah Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed - Inflatable & Portable Bed Air Mattress Set -Blow up Mattress for Kids with High Safety Bed Rails. Set Includes Pump, Case, Pillow & Plush Toy (Coral) www.amazon.com/dp/B07WLM5BVJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_4XUMEbYSZJ8W4
Thanks for watching. The tent overall is great setup is easy and take down is just as easy. The tent is very large and the video doesn’t do it justice. I recommend two people for setup and take down. Hope that helps.
Demonic Studios thanks for watching. Three cots could easily fit side by side in there. You could probably line the exterior walls in the back section with the cots. Note it depends on the size of the cots also, I’ve seen some monster size cots.
Thanks for watching. I found them on Amazon. I looked for the link for you but I do t see the exact same ones anymore. Go to Amazon and type toddler air mattress…
Lol one that was way to big that tarp was 20’x30’ we then just fold it down to the correct size of the tent. So it’s just about doubled up everywhere to keep rocks or whatever from puncturing the bottom.
Since getting it we have maybe 3 week camping in the tent. It’s a great tent. Here is one place we have taken it.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-73ZObFCfu28.htmlsi=-0lORg7MSoSyHkny
Ive been camping since since I was young being in Boy Scouts etc. the main reason people use tarps is for an extra layer between you and roots. I know people are like “pick a spot without roots or rocks” the truth is you could look at a spot and not see a root or rock and then lay in your sleeping bag and have a root in your back. Second is for the longevity of the tent bottom. Third is to help with flooding. In a light rain it could mean the difference between wet floor and not. Hope that helps.
@@GReviewz It does, thank you. I'm always confused because it seems half of the tents I see on RU-vid have bottoms an extra tarp under. aAnd the other half have tents with no bottoms at all with dirt or grass as their floor! Well, thanks.
No problem. Yeah most modern tents have bottoms. I mean some heavy canvas safari tents may be open bottoms but just remember the critters can come in much easier that way!!
I can’t remember exactly what size tarp. I believe I said it in the video. My wife had purchased one on Amazon without looking or measuring what we needed. I believe she got a 20’x30’
Cathy Upton thanks for watching. As long as you have the screen room flaps zipped up it will remain dry. If you have the whole screen room open for ventilation most likely it will be wet from rain..
Thanks for watching. The first time maybe 15 mins. But after using it a few times maybe 8 mins...for its size it is really easy but I do recommend the two person system!
Thanks for watching. We have used this tent on three camping trips. One of which we got rained on the whole weekend. Only water we got in the tent was mainly our fault... we always put a tarp down under the tent. We made the tarp too big so water stayed in-between tent and tarp
We love it and still use it. I re spray water proofer on the rain fly once a year but other than that no complaints. The only downfall is the large footprint of the tent. Some tent sites pads are too small for this tent.
@@GReviewz Hell yeah thank you for the reply we just got ours and sprayed the whole tent down. It’s definitely big but just what we needed. I can definitely see that being a issue but here in Michigan the camp sites are pretty big at least where we go
@GReviewz so I set up my tent last night without tarp on some brick flooring in my back yard and as soon as I sit down a thin small twig pokes through the floor... can I just duct tape the hole?
Where did you get this i like that the screen porch part can be closed up if it rains!.. Are you on Facebook if you can find me jimmy gault in in Murfreesboro TN feel free to message me
Thanks for watching. The tent is awesome I love it..here is a link to we’re I got it! Core 11 Person Family Cabin Tent with Screen Room www.amazon.com/dp/B06WVZVQW6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_EXV826YJPD6TGQPWBW73?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Chris M thanks for watching. Sorry you didn’t like the intro and the initial setup. I try and give people a little back story before I just show a fully set up tent.
