Following up on previous comments on the Tai Chi Advanced Form series. Thanks so much for this, Master Lee. I have practiced the advanced form every day since last December. I had little experience with tai chi before that, just a couple of months of weekly lessons in long form Yang style in 2002 which I did not get far with. Wu round form was more difficult than Yang had been for me. Although my form was very choppy and the sequence of motions difficult to remember it was still fun. It was a little frustrating at times. Balance and range of motion improved week by week, as did muscle memory. After a couple of months I looked back and thought I had the basics roughly right. Every week I made progress, and reflected on where I had been a week earlier. For a while I reviewed your videos to check my form. After a while the muscle memory drove the car and I was a passenger, observing and noticing the good and what could be better. There are so many fine details to balance, range of motion, and alignment. I believe I understand the rudiments of the form and can execute the form fairly smoothly. It seems there is an inner form going on, a fulcrum from which the limbs are flowing continuously from one pose to the other. This is something I let happen by relaxation and empty-minded focus rather than make happen. Improvement is generally permanent. I rarely make a unforced mistake and when I do I let it go by. But I also see a lot more improvement in the future. Not in outward form so much as in the inner form. So thanks again, Master Lee. I see that there is a new set of videos on qi gong, which I will look at. I still do ba duan jin and zhan zhuang every day as well. My goal is health and fitness. However there have been benefits beyond health and fitness, namely to my mind. I was not ready for that but I welcome it.

One very important benefit I have realized is ankle flexibility. It was a serious problem and I was unaware I even had it.
