This video covers the five strikes included in level 1 (blue sash) of Qi Elements' Taiji (Tai Chi) short weapons program--Shuai, Kan Duo Zhan and Ci. It is one of five training videos that have been or will soon be uploaded to RU-vid. The cane techniques have been adapted from various sources on Taiji saber and sword, including my teacher's, Grand Master Yang, Jwing Ming, books and videos on Taiji saber and sword.

Ali walking stick is about the only thing that is legally carry in Scotland especially at my age of 72yr old

The cane hook has some advantages when it comes to so-called "handle techniques," but you can still strike an opponent with the butt end of a walking stick when you are close enough.
