I still cry and my children are going to 2nd and 3rd grade. It’s definitely a mixture of feelings, because you can’t keep them by your side forever, and you’re happy to see their independence. The fact that you really thought about what learning environment would be best for Taika, is so wholesome for me. Obviously, it's not something out of the ordinary, because you love your child LOL But even I was dumped into a public school and started doing horrible. I went to an alternative school in high school and it was the best decision of my life as I now have a high school diploma to my name hahaha I probably wouldn't have made it in public school.

My Little Boy Jaiden is Starting Nursery School soon I'm gonna cry for sure I'm gonna find it so hard to walk away and not watch through the window, lockdown for the last 2 years makes it so much harder to be away from them. When I dropped my step duaghter back to school for her first day back after lockdown I was crying the whole walk home. 🤣 It's such an emotional time when you first see them walking away with there backpacks on off to the next chapter 😭

Also, if you didn't know already, they do monthly stickers that they give on the first of every month with your purchase. They also do special stickers for mother's day, father's day, and other days. So definitely check on the location's instagram for those. If you really like the rebels, I suggest that that you ask for them to be "hand blended," which is less icy and more smooth compared to the regular blended.

My wife cried too when our eldest had her first day of school. Hard to believe my kids have graduated university and both have full time jobs now. Remember, a parent's job is to prepare a child for their next phase in life. Congrats to all of you in starting Taika's school phase. It's a big step. Enjoy and celebrate his accomplishments.
