Sorry maybe I am missing something here, but the first thing anyone does when a light bulb isn't working is replace it? If you have a light going in your house, you don't call an electrician to rewire the house

I have an 06 Silverado. & What I'm noticing, is the daytime sensor causes my brakes & blinker lights to dim & not work correctly at night time. Would there be a way to bypass sensor?
Great video, I was having intermittent problem, brake light bulb fault warning, the bulb looked perfect no kinks or discoloration. It had failed right on the joint and looked ok.
I was running to the same thing and you save me a bunch of time now I’m gonna go ahead and try that and get some new bulbs because I was running through the same problem
Thanks for great explanation. Fixed exactly the same problem with my rear light. I would have assumed that a light would work or not, but your explanation on how it can arc, making it work and not work was very clever.
Oh dear god, like a noob mechanic I was convinced it was the bulb holder (flick lens and light is back on, new bulbs) and it's the rubbish Halfords broken-from-the-factory bulb!! £33 for the bulb holder btw...

I really need help my brake lights and blinkers aren’t working I thought the socket was out because when you touch the passenger side light socket the light either cuts on or off . I’ve tried bulbs new tail light socket fuse and brake light switch 🤦🏾♀️
Hmm interesting. I have issue on my Vauxhall Omega that taillight brake slight not working and error on dash . Found bad boulb swapped boulb but error still on dash … definitely will go and have a look and try to find that one bad lights …
Hi, I just fitted in new brake light bulbs on passenger side rear and as soon as I plugged back in the connector all the power cut to my vehicle. Could this be a fuse issue due to incorrect bulb wattages????

could u help me, i have an issue with my back right brake light, put my foot on the brake and the both brake lights come on but a few seconds later the right one turns off while the othe is still on, i then turn off my headlights and turn them back on only to find the brake light will work again for a few seconds and then repeat, any help would be great thanks

I think that my old 2003 Ford Focus hatchback 'may' have this as a problem. as the off-side tail-light has stopped working. Changed the bulb & checked all the contacts, still doesn't work. My lovely old car has now just failed it's MOT test, so this is really important to me. Trouble is that I can't afford to spend a fortune at a garage for them to find & rectify the fault. Have you any ideas please?
@@aaanton11 While we’re in the same rabbit hole, I’ve got a similar issue on my Mini Cooper. The top light of the tail light cluster is not working. It’s not corroded and I’m using a new bulb. I even got a new socket. Still nothing. As I’m turning the socket I see a little blue spark. I think there’s something up with the circuit board.
aaanton11 Hi, I have a '94 Nissan Altima. I replaced the Brake lamp switch , put in new tail light bulb which stopped my brake lights from staying on. So I thought it was fixed and I didnt have to unhook my positive battery terminal everytime I got out now. Battery was dead next morning. Installed new battery, brake lights back on again lol. I kept smelling wires burning and it was coming from my left tail lights. The ground wire had burnt and melted my tail light housing around where the ground connector screws down to the housing frame. Any ideal what's causing this or can you send me a video how to fix it. My brake light and battery light are staying on and I guess this is why.
You must have a short circuit, did you use the correct bulb, there are many different ones that might go in the wrong hole, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Hey my back lights won’t work when I turn my lights on only the headlights and blinkers, then when I turn the lights off my brake lights work and signals.. do you know what the issue could be? I replaced the bulbs and fuses so that’s not the issue.. anybody can help me out?!?! Please
