hello there :), I got a favor to ask, me and a close friend of mine are currently working on a fan game. The premise of the game is that it's a 2D fighting game based on the Sonic the hedgehog series. It's based of the Archie comics, IDW comics and other Sonic media as well Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Dragon Ball Fighterz and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja. Right now we're currently looking for voice actors from RU-vid who would voice in our game. I'm doing the Voice Casting as well as game developer and designer. It's a fast paced 2D fighting game particular animated in 2d. We would like to know if your interested in the project.

I really like "Believe in Myself"... But I think this matches Tails SO MUCH BETTER!!! It has the same energy Tails does when he's following Sonic. But at the same time, it's from his point of view, showing that he admires his hero and wants to be like him, but do it in his own way. Awesome work and I think you got Tails down pretty well! SEGA needs to hire you!

Honestly any Sonic game. I just want there to be this sort of emotion and motivation behind any of the characters, but Tails especially needs it.

It is kinda weird how the only character who has a combination of a legit motivation and not getting his character trashed right now is silver. Like literally the only one who is the same he was before, even if his role in the games he is in is also questionable

@@lpfan4491 IDK where his motivation really is at this point, Forces never told me, it just... had him be him and deliver a couple lines. Maybe if you think hard enough about it yourself, his role in the game makes perfect sense but... wait how's he even here...

@@hahasamian8010 his motivation is to save his world and help his friends. Sure, it is an overly simple motivation, but at least it is true to who he always was instead of just wanting it to stick to the badguys for no reason other than "u succ, I not".

@willb.5225 Before Frontiers, for the most part, he barely had any development at all, and seemed like he regressed as a character (the one TINY SLIGHT exception being, ironically, Lost World and maybe 06?). In Unleashed, he was literally shown as a coward that ran away from a bunch of dark gaia monsters which he could easily beat, and then there's Forces which couldn't eve have him beat Chaos 0 even though he's fought Chaos in a stronger form.

I know tell me about it. He's gone from saving Station Square, and beating Eggman, by himself in Adventure, to cowering in front of regular Eggman troops - that back in the day he'd that smash without breaking a sweat - in Forces (and thats even before the Chaos encounter!) Sega could have ran with his confidence being shaken, while fighting the war against Eggman, only to then double down it more so - as the line of Tails has lost it suggests - after Infinite "kills" Sonic - even though Tails saw Sonic presumably die before (in SA2) and rather than breaking down became more vengeful about it while fighting Eggman but lets roll with it - hence why he's having the hard time fixing up Omega and getting scared when Chaos appears. But then when classic Sonic appears, all that goes out the window and he's back normal again, and back to not being able to do anything without Sonic. That Tails vs Chaos video by Mike Darklighter could have been good example of how to do it that. It retains Classic Sonic involvement but puts Tails over as a strong capable character by himself ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tIfhrc0SSjE.html Now I'm not saying Tails (or anyone else) shouldn't get scared - no courage without fear and all that - as (in SA1) before setting off to stop Eggman he has a moment of worry and panic where he's "aww man, this isn't looking good.... Sonic's not here and if I screw up its game over man!" But then he digs deep, and puts hope and courage into practice, as he puts himself over as the little fox who could. Man I miss old Tails, but I guess at least Tyson Hesse gave him back some credibility with the Mania Adventure shorts, as he helped Sonic fight Eggman and Metal Sonic. Also bring him back as a playable character as well Sega! Sonic 06 was the last time he was playable in a mainline 3D title and ever since Unleashed (08) its been Sonic or bust, save for the OC of Forces and the outsourced Boom. As for his play style don't lumber him with extra characters to carry (Heroes), or confine to another mech (SA2), but instead - like SA1 - let Tails run (and fly) wild and free. Because, as the old saying goes: let Tails run (and fly) wild and free.

Honestly, Forces is more or less a wasted opportunity for a really emotional arc for tails. Over the years, he unknowingly fell back into sonics shadow, actively seeking validation from him like how he was angry at sonic for working with eggman in lost world. What they could and should have done is to have Tails actively protect everyone in the opening until sonic arrives. Tails then does nothing until sonic is almost defeated at which point he puts down his scanner and tries to join the fight, only to get kicked aside because he joined the battle too late. He then can do nothing except watch sonic be defeated and then run away because he forgot to believe in himself. A few months later, he is actively chased by the copies and then cornered by chaos which is when, while shaking from fear because losing sonic broke his curage, he prepares for a last stand against him. Classic sonic then appears and throughout the game, tails regains his backbone and realizes where he went wrong. That happens primarily because he is basically reliving the beginning of everything. Him looking the end in the eye(in diffrent scenarios) and sonic just happened to pass by and help him find something special within him. A part of him that knew he was more than people treated him as. That is also one of the multiple factors that could have made the end of the game more emotional than "yeah, I guess classic sonic is just not here anymore. Not like he ever made a diffrence anyways"

He technically already has two, but Tails adventure is basically a metroidvania and a Sonic-themed Metroidvania that isn't simultaneously trying to be a traditional Sonic game (coughshattered crystalcough) is a fun idea. I'm honestly all for more Sonic Spin-offs that allows the genre to be a bit looser. Tails Metroidvania, Knuckles/Shadow beat-em-up, Silver puzzle platformer, Rouge stealth game. A lot of the tried-and-failed stuff in Sonic games is because they're in SONIC games. Games about movement and traversal which don't always lend themselves well to those genre fusions.

@@lozm4835 knuckles really needs another game. Knuckles chaotix was so long ago. Same goes for shadow in a few years because shadow the hedgehog is also already 1.5 decades ago.(not to mention certain characters who deserved it never really got a standalone. Blaze and Silver had the rush and rivals-games, but those games were more about eggman nega and his scemes than these two honestly.)

The truth is that Sega is sick of the Sonic franchise, so they're trying to kill it off by driving away the fans with crap. Put me at the helm and Sonic will beat out the Final Fantasy 7 remake.
