Hi guys! Hope things are going well! I was just reminiscing on Taiwan and you guys came up in my recommended section!! Obviously had to see it! hahaha. This was such a fun. video, glad you got to try that fried milk too!!! It was so good!! lol.
We seriously talked basically the entire time we were in that market about how we wish we'd gotten to experience it with y'all!! Hopefully we can catch you guys somewhere again in the near future! Safe travels & hope you guys are doing well!!:)
Whoop whoop! I’m Deb from the coffee shout out (Deb and Mike) I’m such a knucklehead that I didn’t even put my name in right lol!!! Glad you enjoyed the coffee! We’re living the adventure vicariously through y’all!! :)
LOL!! Trey was so worried he was messing it up when we were filming🤣 We LOVED the coffee!!! Fika Fika is such a great coffee shop, & we're so incredibly grateful for you guys & your donation. Thank y'all so much!!!:)
Yeah ......June through August is kind of unpleasant in Taiwan. ....I would not recommend people to visit here during the summer months. It's so hot and humid 😅😅😅😅...I'm sorry you guys had to suffer through that, but I hope you guys still enjoyed your stay here!! ♥️♥️♥️ Next time you guys can try beef noodles at Ximen! 老王記牛肉麵 is 👌👍 Taipei 101 is also the only Skyscraper in the world that lets you see the Damper Balls, thus all the Damper Baby mascots with the eyes and nose in the shape of 101 😂😂😂😂 You guys can also stop by the Taipei Zoo which has Penguins and Pandas! And the zoo is gigantic because it's built more like a sanctuary than a zoo because they want to teach kids and people who visit a lot conservation, which is kind of nice. Apparently it's a top 5 zoo In Asia! After the zoo closes, you can walk right outside of the zoo to take the Crystal Gondola up the mountain to Maokong to have tea everything: tea noodles, tea duck, tea fries, tea ice cream, and obviously tea. They'll also show you how to brew tea properly, how to warm the cups, and the whole process. It's cute and great for IG! 😂😂😂😂 The Crystal Gondola is just clear fiber glass I think, so you can see through the floors and windows to enjoy the view going up. You can also watch the sunset before catching the gondola back down. I appreciate that you guys came to Taiwan and shared your positive experiences with everyone. We need the tourism and the kind words!!! If you guys ever come back, I have a whole list of things to do, see, eat at based on districts in Taipei and outside of Taipei that I keep for my friends. 😂😂😂 Thanks again for visiting and for helping to promote our little island! 😂😂♥️♥️
OMG chive pancake! should try it even if you don't like chives, the reasoning behind that is the vegies doesn't taste the same as how western countries use them, just like you might not like papaya but the papaya drink just hits you differently.
What a nice video, but just want to say the worst season for traveling in Taiwan is Summer from May to August. It means you both need to go again to Taiwan!
We definitely learned that the hard way🤣 But I will say, it was still such a cool city. I think our next goal is to spend New Years there so that we can see the fireworks show. There's just so much more to see in Taiwan as a whole. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video Melissa!!!:)
Taiwan’s winter isn’t too bad but because heaters aren’t popular in Taiwan, it can feel colder than it really is. However, if you stay in hotels or motels, most of them do have heaters then it’s not so bad.
Taiwan is actually not only Taipei city, there are so many other places with good scene, moutains, seashore, food, friendliness, suggest you have a look at those views…………
We agree!! Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to venture out into more of Taipei, but we plan to come back & dive deeper into it at some point. We just didn't want to miss Taipei while we had the short time to be able to visit. Thanks so much for watching our video!!!
Oh man we still had an awesome visit!! We honestly kinda liked the rain storms. Gave us a little break during the days from exploring. Thank you so much for watching!!
Din Tai Fung has branches around the world including the US. XLB are also available in lots of chinese restaurants. Especially shanghai style. Din Tai Fung is generally overpriced as XLB should be closer to cheap street food. I think it is ridiculous that they made up instructions for people to poke a hole in it and let the soup out. I've always just stuck it in my mouth. You want a literal explosion of juices in your mouth. I went to the main Taiwan branch and I found theirs to be luke warm so a bit of a disappointment.
New IT city ? LOL you guys must be new and never read the news ? Taiwan been an IT empire for over 30 yrs. Who do you think been supplying the components of your cellphone, TV and other electronics?
It’s always a sign of success when you got people try to steal your thunder and claim credits that has nothing to do with them. Sad but true. Sorry chinese people, but you will never be Taiwanese or part of Taiwan 😂😂😂.
