Taj Mahal was supposed to be here in Burhanpur I Black Taj Mahal and other monuments  

In this video you will see less explored historical places in Burhanpur,like AhuKhana,Mumtaz Mahal’s first Grave, where initially Taj Mahal was supposed to built. But due to non transparency of Tapti River water, poor soil strength and difficulty in procurement of white marble, the Architect advised Shah Jahan to build Taj Mahal at Agra. So for first 6 months dead body of Mumtaz Mahal was kept near Ahu Khana.
Also you will see the Black Taj Mahal (tomb of Shah Nawaz), which inspired Mumtaz Mahal, and she took a promise from Shah Jahan, that he would built a similar Tomb for her in white Marble.
