Assuming they came from their home in Takasaki, it's "only" 45 minutes to akina, i don't think they came from the summit of Akagi since the scene before that was in the ryosukes room
that sprinter destroyed everyone beside evo 3 and he lost only because of Takumi got emotional and destroyed engine. "To get emotional behind the wheel - the dumbest thing you can do." - Takumi himself while teaching Kanata in RDRS.
Love Ryosuke's take on the new 86 engine. He knows there's a new engine in the 86, but he didn't expect it to be that insanely good. And he guessed correctly that Takumi was struggling to manage the new engine, which means he also now knows the new engine was put in to test Takumi's skills and make him experience new things. It's precisely why he decides to form Project D and recruit Takumi.
He actually was prepared for this back in first stage when he mentioned that there's gonna be 2 drives that are going to beat him one day fully, it's keisuke and (he doesn't tell as he wanted to make keisuke excited who is)
@@fastcarboiin fact keisuke did, but not the battle way but in continuous development as a driver, as takumi's on the battle way. he literally just saying only his little bro and takumi can beat him
@@fastcarboi i would want to see how he met takumis mom, his rivalry with the MR2, and his friendship with the gas station owner. I forget his name. God dude. How is it that he made bunta a way more fascinating character than the main character lol 🤣
Bunta is such a harsh, but brilliant teacher. Takumi is extremely smart to figure out all his lessons. Not once did had his father hold his hand with anything.
Except when takumi blew the old engine. He could’ve easily been harsh with him and chewed him out for overdriving the car but he wasn’t, he knew the engine was on its last legs and that it wasn’t takumi’s fault
@@StanceSantos That engine had been through his entire generation of hell and then most of Takumi's upcoming. Even tuning and managing it was only a matter of time. Instead of getting mad he simply let it be another lesson to Takumi.... "Sometimes no matter how hard you try. There are surprises and things that happen that are simply out of your control. If it wasn't this race... it would have been the next race. Or the next delivery... It was bound to happen. Not a matter if "IF" just a matter of "When".
Don't expect any hand-holding from Bunta. The man drifts with no hands and eyes closed. Hahahaha. Seriously, Bunta wants Takumi to experience with his instincts. Bunta even told me Yuichi once that even if he explains to Takumi car settings that Takumi will not understand. Best to let his driver instincts make the necessary adjustments.
My personal favorite episode of the entire series solely based on Bunta's monologue at the end. So much insight in those 30 seconds that didn't make sense upon first viewing.
Can you imagine getting your hands on a race engine. If I could get get my hands on the v6 indi Honda engine that revs to 12k rpm I swapped my fk8 l20c engine on a heart beat. Even tuning down a 12k rpm engine to like 10k still will sound so beast
More so buffed but too op to the point Takumi couldn't handle it at first. Reminds me of playing Racing Lagoon and used a cheat to get a specific fast engine but it turned my car into a freaking almost unstable monster.
@@Heckk_oh They changed it every time haha. My personal favorite aesthetic for Ryosuke is probably 1st stage, closely followed by 4th. 4th wins depending on my mood
I dunno, Bunta wants Takumi to struggle a little bit before he self discovers the answer but when Takumi learned that he needed to rev it higher than he was accustomed to from someone else, Bunta got upset.
