This is a tribute to Gray, my favourite character in the anime Takarajima/Treasure Island. The video contains spoilers for the final episode. The music is from the Takarajima soundtrack.
Yes you are is really underrated and people who watchated when it came out are starting to die thanks god my father show it to me im 21 and I'm gonna show it to my future kids
@dumdum9999 Yes, in the last episode Gray tells Jim that he's going back home to Ireland. He also gives his share of the treasure to an Irish liberation movement.
Glad you liked it! The black and white scene is actually the future and shows how he ends up in the end of the series. It kind of looks like a flashback, but I wanted to make it stand out somehow. Maybe I should have picked another effect. XD
Wow, no wonder you like this guy so much - I barely remember him in the series, but just from this I can tell he has to be an awesome character XD I really enjoyed the AMV - I especially like the parts from the beginning to 0:14 and from 1.25 to 1:40, because you made the clips flow perfectly with the music theme. Also, I loved the part with what I assume was a flashback. If so, seems like the guy has a really interesting background to match the awesomeness XD
@@alateos Silver is stronger and smarter but Gray is a very righteous man. He lets Silver go in the end probably because he admires Silver and also because he cares about Jim's feeling. He also said he always join the weakest, so in a sense maybe he had to save Silver.
You mean the makers? Why they choosed to let him die? I guess its that (japanese) heroic attidute toward lonely wolf characters, which gives the person a very dramatic, but also even more touch of coolness. Also his role was completely remade from the original story, in which he, as a very young men, to not go with the bad guys and remains the only loyal sailor from the crew, thus leading to a (moralic) good reward ending for him, in where hes founding his own carpenter company and starts a family. But that part is given to Hunter in the series
