This a tribute to the cool pirates in the anime Takarajima/Treasure Island, excluding Silver and Papy/Papi/Puppy/whatever his name is because they're so cool that they deserve their own tributes. I left a few pirates out, but I think I got all the important ones.
I'm not sure if the guy with the Bible is really called Abraham, but that's the impression I got. I'm pretty sure I heard someone call him that in the series. Sorry if I'm wrong.
The music is from the Takarajima soundtrack.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I really like the pirates in the series. My favourite is easily Blind Pew, but Morgan is pretty great, too.

The book didn't really give much attention to any pirate but the important ones, so it's great to see this series made up for it. I can't really recall reading of any of them aside form Pew and Billy Bones, but if you like them enough to make a tribute this must be one interesting cast of characters. The guy with the bible cracks me up for some reason XD

@iikitsune Hi and thanks for the comment! They changed things a little with the Bible-carrying pirate in this series. There is no character called Dick in the anime. Instead, the role is divided between Puppy (a young sailor who is lured to join the pirates by Silver) and Abraham (who has the Bible and is marooned in the end). Abraham Gray is also in the series (actually, he's a major character), but he's just called Gray, probably to avoid confusion.

There was one called "Barrel" (Squirrel, Rundfass, Eekhoorn), a fat one with long teeth. One called Popeye (Cross-eyed, Glotzaug, De Schele). Both died of malaria.

I know the tall pirate with the necklace of teeth is called "Giraffe" ("Langer" in German). Salmaneo is the one who fell down in the waterfall. Tattoo is the one who died of a heart attack during the treasure hunt. I don't know the names of the fat bearded pirate, the one with the moustache and pink scarf, the Japanese pirate, and the bandaged pirate. Has anyone an idea?
