Following a lot of people asking about how to build the Kegsky (Keg Esky) that featured in previous trip videos, I finally got around to filming a build. But I thought I'd do one better and convert a 12v fridge into a Kegerator (Keg Refrigerator). The same principals apply to converting an esky if you don't have a fridge available.
Ironman 4x4 came through with the goods, and supplied me with a 40L Icecube fridge for the build;

iKegger should stock everything you need for this project, use discount code 'wild' to save 10%

For this project you'll need the following;
- Tower and tap OR a short shank tap for going through side of esky
- 5m of beer/co2 line (5mm inner diameter, 8mm external);
- Beer/co2 line clamps or push fittings
- Ball lock keg disconnects
- Keg 4L, 6L or 10L (whatever fits)
- Reg and gas (16g co2 bulb or Sodastream and reg to suit)
If you're planning to build your own tower like I did in this video you'll need;
90mm pipe;

90mm grate;
www.bunnings.com.au/holman-90...
90mm end cap;
www.bunnings.com.au/holman-90...
Pipe insulation;

You're also going to need a drill, drill bits, hole saw, black paint, masking tape, spanners and side cutters.
To get a good pour with no head and good carbonation;
Set the fridge between 0-2degrees, cut beer line length to 3m (gas line length does not matter), set gas to 10-12psi (this pressure will carbonate flat beer after about 7 days at 2 degrees, and is a good serving pressure too).
Hit me up with any questions.
Cheers!
