ZZ plant care for indoor growing should start with 5-8 hours of indirect lighting everyday. These plants are marketed as low lighting plans but they’re actually medium to high light plants. You should place your ZZ plants somewhere between 3 to 8 feet away from a window inside your house. Once you have placed the plant in its location you want to leave it there and not move it around much. The ZZ plant prefers to get used to one area and stay there for it’s entire life.

The ZZ plant does not like to be repotted very often. On average people repot this plant once every 1 to 2 years and when it comes to repotting the ZZ plant, you want to make sure to use a pot size only one or 2 inches larger than the previous pot size.
